It's not always easy seeing a new Doctor, but I must say Dr. Mak put me totally at ease. He checked me out thoroughly and talked to me about what he would recommend. I felt confident and very pleased with his recommendations. Dr. Mak made the office visit a pleasure as you just don't know what to expect from a new Doctor. HE spent time with me explaining my condition and what he would recommend as I mentioned above. I would recommend Dr. Mak to my friend or anyone suffering from pain.

Dr. O'Hara is the best pain management doctor I have found. He takes the time to listen to you about your pain and is never dismissive about what you feel, he tries to understand what it is and how it works. His mind is always working, as you explain things, his mind is coming to and accepting or rejecting possible diagnoses. He doesn't rush you to decisions and makes sure he explains all of the risks involved in any procedure. I tell my friends that are in pain to go to Dr. O'hara so that he can help you the way he's been helping me since day 1.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mak's for going on two years now. He has been a great help in managing my pain. Dr. Mak listens to what I have to say about how I feel, when I'm in pain, and how bad my pain gets. After listening, he then talks with me about my options and what he feels would be the best way to help manage it until I had surgery for my spine. I would always receive a call back the same day from Dr. Mak if I needed more medication or had questions about it. His office was always polite.
