There was no place to leave a review years ago, so I'll share my experience now. Dr. Nowak could be a lot better than he is with several things. He needs to improve in some areas. One is bedside manner, another is listening to the patient, and another is admitting he's wrong when he's wrong. My husband and I went to him some years back for fertility treatments. I'd researched how the IUI procedure is to be done. He did our first IUI, and completely messed it up. Did not give the HCG shot before the procedure as it should be given but 15 minutes after it. When I got a second opinion on how it was supposed to be done, the doctor I saw agreed that it hadn't been done right.

Dr. Nowak was a great surgeon when he removed my fibroid.

His office staff were very cold and impersonal and the office always had a dark pall over it. I'm not the only patient to have had this experience.

After the botched IUI, which indicated to my husband and I that he and his staff did not have the proper experience to know how to do it properly, and after we spent $300 for the procedures that never had any chance of working for us since it wasn't done correctly, I left his office and went elsewhere. He never apologized for doing the IUI wrong. When I called his office to ask them to transfer my chart to the new office, his receptionist, with an attitude in her voice, told me that once my chart left their office I could never come back to them and be their patient ever again. She was very unprofessional and acted as if I'd done something to her personally. A few months later my primary care doctor showed me a letter that she'd received from Dr. Nowak where he blamed me for leaving and not giving him the chance to work with me further. Why would I? And what kind of attitude is that for him and his office staff to have toward patients?? I never disrespected him; I just moved on. Most doctors don't take things personal when you move on to another doctor. I wish things had gone differently.

I have been dealing with pelvic pain for 6 years. I decided to get a second opinion and am so glad I did. Dr. NOWAK was humble, exact, listened with his ears and his heart about my frustrations and dealt with it with utmost integrity. Not bouncing back from surgery as quickly as I thought I should, he spent at least 45 minutes yesterday examining me and addressing every concern. My husband and I were both impressed. Each person is different and heals at a different pace. But I felt so much peace after leaving his office. He in my opinion one of the few doctors who isn't driven by ego, money, or numbers. He cares about ME and my quality of life.

Really enjoy my appointments with Dr. Nowak. He is genuine and concerned for my health. He takes the time to review my chart for old or new concerns and asks me how I am feeling. Having had two surgeries and now successfully pregnant, I know that he took care of me in the operating room. I am referring all of my friends to his office! Thank you, Dr. Nowak!

Dr. Nowak and his staff are the most genuine, wise people in the business. Because the doc cares about each of us, he's not timely with appointments. That is easy to live with: bring a book while you wait. The doc listens, examines, and makes his call. One persistent problem of mine was 100% taken care of because of his knowledge and ability. He is the best doctor ever. Dr. Nowak has been my physician for 25 years.

Dr. Nowak was very knowledgable with my diagnosis and was helpful with treatment planning the best options for me. He was compasionate during surgery and took the time to answer any questions that I had. The robotic surgery was very impressive, with the scars being minimal and the recovery time reduced. I had nothing but a positive experience with this doctor and clinic.

Extremely egotistical. Does not worry about having a good relationship with patients. He only worries about being "right." If you have problems or concerns, you will be blamed. Very demeaning.

I saw a dozen physicians who couldn't seem to find anything wrong with me. I suffered for years with profound abdominal pain. One day someone told me about Dr. Nowak and I gave him a try. He diagnoised me in 15 minutes & operated a few days later. I have been 100% well since I saw him in 1986 :) I owe him my life!
