Dr. Shahan V. Yacoubian did my left hip replacement surgery in September 2022 and my right hip replacemnt in January of 2023. I feel like a new man now. I was in so much pain that I could barely walk around my house. I was afraid of having to be in a wheelchair. Now I have no pain and am able to walk 2 miles comfortably after only six weeks since surgery. Dr Shahan and the OSS office staff have been professional and caring. Dr. Shahan even called my wife right after both surgeries to let her know the results. My wife was very impressed by this kind behavior. I am very grateful to Dr. Shahan for giving me a new lease on life.

Dr. Shahan Yacoubian did a total knee replacement and as soon as I was able to walk after the surgery (couple of hours) I could feel the difference !!! Thanks to good genes and a great doctor, I am doing great and ahead of schedule on the road to recovery. When my other knee needs to be replaced I will definitely be back and let Dr. Yacoubian do the surgery !!!

Dr. Yacoubian performed two total knee replacement surgeries within six months of each other and I could not be happier. These new knees have literally kept me from ending up in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I was recommended to Dr. Shahan Yacoubian for knee replacement. His staff was helpful in guiding me through the process and in early December, Dr. Yacoubian replaced both my knees. I have had a remarkable recovery and I attribute that to skilled surgeon, Dr. Yacoubian. 2 1/2 months out and I am driving, walking and getting around great. Had a severe fracture of the tibia, so severe that it required two operations, one to install an external fixator and a second to set the bone (closed reduction), which required 6 screws and a 12” steel plate. Dr. Yacoubian saw me on short notice and performed both surgeries perfectly. He and his wonderful staff helped me through a long and difficult recovery time. I’m now back on my feet again and operating at 100%. If you’re ever in need of an orthopedic surgeon, see Dr. Yacoubian first. He’s a miracle worker!

Dr. Yacoubian's reputation is excellent and my experience with him and his staff did not disappoint. He is a skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner - I am not typically one to submit online recs but my quality of life improved considerably because of his quality care.

I am extremely satisfied with the services I received from Dr. Yacoubian and his staff for my TKR surgery in September 2016. From the moment it was decided to move forward with the surgery, I received the information I needed when I needed it. The staff did the leg work to set everything up and told me where to go and when. The surgery and recovery was great. The first two weeks a nurse and a Physical Therapist visited me at home, no problems. Later, the physical therapy I received was top notch. Dr. Yacoubian and his staff as well as the home health staff were an absolute pleasure to work with and I am grateful for their help.

When I first mentioned my constant knee pain to two different doctors, they both immediately recommended that I contact Dr. Yacoubian.
He performed my knee replacement surgery 3 months ago and the results are quite remarkable. I am now engaging in simple physical activities long ago abandoned because of the pain. e.g. walks and bicycling.
At each stage of treatment, Dr. Yacoubian was friendly, open and responsive to my many questions. Yes, I would absolutely recommend this surgeon to anybody suffering such problems.
