The admin people and dental hygienists are very nice but the Doctors leave a lot to be desired. Besides messing up some porcelain work that was done on me and had to be redone they can make you feel like you just dealt with a used car salesman (no insult to car salesmen meant!). Dr Ma. in particular came across as sleazy as he keeps pushing you to buy more, unnecessary, dental work.

Dr. Ma is not honest with regard to what procedures need to be performed and in which teeth. I had 2nd and 3rd opinions to confirm this is a true fact. The reason, I believe, is to make more money. Appearance Implant & Laser Dentistry is a very dirty, unsterile facility and they schedule 3-4 people at the same time for the same dentist. I have waited 1 hour in the waiting room and another hour in the chair before seeing the dentist. I had gone to Appearance Implant & Laser Dentistry for 5-6 years and had a wonderful dentist, Dr. Salvatore Mellita but unfortunately when Gentle Dental took over, he left. Then I tried Dr. A (now deceased), Dr. Harrouff and then Dr. Ma at this facility. Dr. Harrouff made me wait 2 hours, has horrible chair side manner and let Novocain wear off before procedure. He gave me another shot and it still was the worst pain I've ever felt! All in all, you'd be better off if you find a new dentist. I really don't have anything positive to say about them!
