Not very friendly. My wife went to see him and won't go back. We both like Dr. Offner.

I went to visit Dr. Fleming because I had scratched my cornea and my regular eye doctor was out of town. I was referred to his office from my regular eye doctor. He was very pleasant and helpful with my eye problem and I thought he was just trying to be thorough and nice when he scheduled 2 follow up appointments to check on my eye later in the week. I showed up for both of those appointments where he basically glanced at the eye and told me it was healing just fine. A month later I got a bill in the mail for $100 for the 2 copays for the follow up visits ($50 per visit). My regular eye doctor never charges me for follow up appointments so I was confused and called the office to inquire about the bill. They told me in their office it was standard to charge $50 per copay per visit, regardless if it is a follow up to a previous visit. I asked them why I was not charged these copays up front, as is normal with copays and they said that they must have made a mistake because it Is their policy to charge for copays up front. Had I been charged with the second $50 copay on my first follow up visit I would definitely not have gone back, knowing I would have to pay another $50! Even though it was their fault for not charging me the copays up front, the billing department said it was still my responsibility to pay and were not nice or wiling to negotiate with me at all. This seems very deceptive to me, not charging copays up front, especially to someone who is not a regular patient and had no idea I would charged $150 in one week for follow up visits. My eye was obviously healing fine and I could have easily skipped the 2 follow up visits and saved myself $100. I am also less than thrilled with the staff who basically had no sympathy to my situation even though they all that admitted it was wrong of them not to charge me to the copays up front. I will never go visit this office again, I have also let my regular eye doctor know so he doesn't make the mistake of referring any more of his patients to this office.

Took my son in for his 2 year check and all was ok at first. I did notice the staff was rude but nowadays I'm used to that, unfortunate isn't it? Anyway, They wrote one prescription then ordered contacts in another then rewrote the prescription after another visit. His cost is high, service is TERRIBLE. Never EVER going back! I do not recommend at all! We now have to take my son in to a new doctor and pay a whole new fee. Staff is rude and doctor wasn't pleasant either.
