If this is the Grace Kooper in Lincoln on Blackstone Valley, I would highly advise avoiding her services. I went in for my appointment and after talking for even 10 minutes she was able to make her diagnosis. I'll get the worst part later, but she seemed to like poisoning me. I'd use the word arrogant, but not many would accept it since usually younger people are labelled with that, but she certainly seemed extremely confident with her decision after getting just a minuscule amount of information. She is stubborn. She is coarse, blunt, and not open minded. I think she has a good heart, but she doesn't use it--tired and just paying the bills. It's not her fault, but if you want to get what you need, I'd recommend trying someone who is willing to work with you, and not someone who would deem themselves an expert, yet who is completely by the book, because when it comes to attempting to try to treat anything, the 'book' currently sucks, so why would anyone going by the book (of psychiatry) be worth giving your time to? Anyhow, I said I'd get to the point I made before about her poisoning me. I put my faith in her, and took the medication she prescribed for as long as I could. It gave me migraines and I felt terrible like I couldn't do much at all. I told her this and she claimed that we should try something else for the same thing. I also took something that made me shaky as in my hands would shake uncontrollably. She also seemed fine with this. I was trying to find reasons why someone would do this. I thought she could be racist, but she didn't seem to be. I don't know, it seemed like she was the one who needed to be diagnosed for being a terrible person and a terrible 'doctor'. Though I still think this criminal practices.
