I heard he went to prison and he was charged with felonious assault.

Worse doctor ever! The last time I was in his office I believe was in the year 2018. I am happy to learn his office is permanently closed.

Under no circumstances would I recommend anyone to see this doctor. I am on disability and was currently trying to transfer my doctor to a new one and Baumont recommended me to this joker. First, the outside of the building is very run down you wouldn't even think this was a Doctors office by looking at it. Once I walked in every single light was off and all the receptionist were setting around joking and goofing off. The paperwork they handed me was not even the standard professional paperwork that normal doctors offices have you fill out instead I was handed a piece of paper that looked like it was typed off a commodore 64 from the 80's they did not ask about my medical background, weight, medical conditions or nothing. When I finally called in by Dr.Zalla he sat me down and asked the typical questions but was very rude and condesending. He started out asking me about my parents health and he would not even let me finish a sentence. Suddenly he glances down and notices that my last Dr had me on a script of Xanax because I have chronic anxiety and insomnia. Now I know the current laws about narcotics, Dr shopping, and drug seekers i was just there to transfer doctors. However Dr. Zalla freaked out when he noticed I was on Xanax and told me "Well I do not give out Xanax here" I nodded and said "Well umm ok do you have any other suggestions or doctors you could refer me to because I need someone who can treat my anxiety". He suddenly stands out of his chair and says really harshley and loudly "You should have stayed with your old doctor if you want to be an addict". I then asked "Why are you getting so upset at me" He then says with a loud and rude voice "Get out of my office and proceeds to shove me out the door. Yes this doctor literally shoved me out of his office and then under his voice called me an A hole. This rattled my nerves so much I had a panic attack and almost went to the hosptial. No one should ever get treated this way. But I was even more unnerverd once I read some of the comments from others that they also got shoved out the door in the same manner over other reasons. Seriously there is bad reviews about this doctor he is not a good person or Doctor. I plan on making this a civil thing this doctor should have his medical license taken. In fact I myself called the michigan medical review board or LARA. I hope others that were mentally abused by this doctor due the same.

Condescending and he bad mouthed another MD. Highly unprofessional in my opinion. Office didn't keep scheduled hours

I had an appointment scheduled a month in advance for my FOUR kids. I took the day off work to see this Dr. We walked to the office to find it CLOSED with NO warning! I did NOT receive a phone call to reschedule or let me know about the change!
