Don't let these reviews deter you, he is the most friendly doctor I have ever seen! He truly cares are respects me and my family whenever we come in for appointments. Had LASIK with him and my vision has never been better! Great staff and while it is sometimes a little wait, it is worth it in the end.

Over an hour and a half wait to see a doctor here, and this was after I changed my appointment time to accommodate their cancellations in their schedule. The doctor seemed in a huge hurry, in and out in,less than 5 minues.

Office staff rude and argumentative. Not good communication between Dr Sygiel and staff.

While undergoing laser eye surgery to correct scaring that Dr. Sygiel said resulted from the cataract surgery he performed, Dr. Sygiel caused a severe corneal abrasion. I later found out from the corneal specialist that Dr. Sygiel ignored my pre-existing condition and used the wrong instruments for the surgery. The pain was excrutiating. I told him at the beginning of the procedure that the pain was terrible -- but he said was due to me being too tense. No - he was tearing my cornea.

Very dissappointed in vision after surgery. Had to have the proceedure "re-done" by another surgeon. Please take the time to explain exactly your primary vision distance.

Dr. Sygiel did my Lasik. It was a graduation gift to myself. I was happy with the results, but, my eyes are miserably dry now - I'm 31 years old and am constantly fighting red eyes and using eyedrops like a grandmother. Otherwise, I'm happy.
