Midtling was pushy, did not explain the procedure and did not stop trying to anesthetize me when I asked him to stop because I was crying shaking and hyperventilating. I was in no state to be going under anesthesia but he pushed anyways and did nothing to comfort me and or reassure me. In fact he said we would have to hurry up or he would have to take my tourniquet off. He didn’t looking at my x-rays until moments before I was taken back to the room, informed me that he wanted to change my care plan as I was seated in the chair, and said some very startling things to scare me into agreeing to do it the way he wanted to even after I had already agreed. He was obviously irritated with me that I was nervous, and acted as though his patients were an inconvenience. He expressed irritation with his Somali patients that they were having difficulty communicating and that they didn’t understand what was going on. I would assume as a medical professional you are responsible for ensuring that all your patients understand and concern to what is about to happen but he treated everyone not like a patient but as another check in his pocket speeding though procedures. I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment time before being brought back to a tiny room that did not look suitable for wisdom tooth extraction and did not appear properly sterile. This was a horrible and traumatic experience nobody should have to go through. I urge anyone considering this doctor, who is most undeserving of that title, to do their research into his office, his reputation, and his license. Please believe the negative reviews. I suspect the positive ones are either people he knows or people he is paying to offset the bad ones.

the receptionists and the nurses need to be quieter when they decide to openly mock and laugh at patients. Dr midtling himself is nice and skilled at what he does, but my experience was tarnished before I was even called back for my appointment.

I was having pain in a area where where I broken my jaw in multiple areas, and mouth. When I went to his office for the first time I was very nervous, and the pain Iwas having was extreme. His staff was some of the nicest, and kind hearted people I have ever met. He had a very technical advanced x-ray machine, and showed everything having to do with my neck up to the top of my head. After he showed me the x-rays, and what was the problems I was having. He explained everything, and answered every question I had. When I had the surgery I actually felt comfortable, relaxed, and I have never felt that way even just going to the dentist with alone having a pretty extensive surgery. After the staff took amazing care of me, and made sure I was doing okay. The surgery he did turned out excellent, and 3 year's later I still haven't had any problems. He is a amazing, and talented surgeon!! I would return in a heart beat if I ever needed any services he provides!!!

My daughter needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Midtling was 1 of only 5 OS my insurance approved. Excellent care including before, during and well after procedure! Will return for my needs soon.

I was exposed to other patient's blood in this Dr.'s "recovery" area due to unchanged cot and pillow covers. I saw this when I woke up.They refused to give me gauze even though I was still bleeding heavily when they told me I was OK to go.I waited over 2 1/2 hours to get my teeth extracted. I was 15 min. early for my appointment.

Both he and his nurse acted like I was insignificant and all they wanted to do was to roll me through like I was on a conveyor belt. TERRIBLE experience. The good reviews I've seen for him must have been left by people that had never seen a good dentist before. He was light years away from being even a fair dentist.

The whole place felt and looked dirty. I complained to the dental board about him and his practice.

Dr. Midtling removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth last year. I spent a lot of time researching for surgeons and I am incredibly happy with the decision I made. It seems they were quite busy the day of my appointment, but I was still seated soon after checking in. I spent some time talking to the nurse and she answered most of my questions, but Dr. Midtling was most helpful. I was very anxious going in, and he made me very relaxed by explaining the procedure and what to expect. Everything went extremely well and I have no problems after the procedure. I would return again if ever needed.
