Do NOT go to this doctor for sleep apnea issues. After my husband being on a merry-go-round for over a year-without ever having SEEN this doctor-only the nurse practitioner, Micki Solter; WE ARE DONE. The totally unprofessional behavior shown by Micki today sealed the deal. There has been very limited one-on-one care-basically amounting to an in-clinic sleep study (which didn't seem to reflect his normal pattern), sending him to get the CPAP machine, and reading the card at the appointments. She didn't even know (or seem to care) when I had found out through MY OWN research, that there was a new innovation for patients not doing well with the machine. After doing even MORE research on our own, and losing more confidence in the care provided, we cancelled what we felt to be a questionable test and did seek a second opinion. That doctor ( who actually SAW my husband) showed more care and compassion than we've ever seen in this office. Today our visit was started with attitude (presumably from the cancelled test) and continued to go downhill as we questioned the care and treatment. We were left stunned as she got up and stormed out the door with the words, "We're done here!" She left us sitting in the room bewildered and not knowing if we should leave or what!! We eventually left the room only to then overhear this NP complaining about my husband to someone in a side room. We did try to actually speak to the doctor about our experience , but of course, he wasn't available. It looks like we'll be driving the 2 hours to see the doctor who gave us a second opinion. This doctor seems to be stretched thin enough with his main practice and doesn't seem to be giving the proper time or care for patients refered for this problem.

This doctor is excellent. He is caring and knowledgeable. Very nice and caring.
