Not overly personable...doesn't really care about patients background--- he's the doctor. Always wait a very long time to be seen.

Avoid Dr. Borovoy at all costs! I had a bunion removed. Shortly after the surgery, I developed horrible "electrical" shooting pains in my foot. Dr. B. couldn't explain why that was happening. I kept going back because the pain was disabling. I had never experienced it prior to the surgery. Dr. B. told me basically to stop wasting his time and that the problem was in my head. It wasn't until I felt something poking into my skin that Dr. B. realized a pin had come loose from the surgery and was pressing on a nerve. He told me he couldn't fit me into his schedule for a good 6 weeks to remove it. Thank God I was smart enough to go elsewhere and the new podiatrist removed the pin in less than 2 weeks.

Dr. Borovoy suggested surgery for my bunion right away. After surgery, he suggested I participate in laser therapy for a faster healing method, assuring me this was my best option. It was a waste of both time and money. About a month or 2 after surgery, my foot looked like the bunion was never removed; my foot looked just as bad as it did prior to surgery. Dr. Borovoy would not look at my foot to check on my recovery, I had to ask him too look at my foot for him to see there was a problem even after X-rays were taken. It was several months after surgery when he told me I would have to have another surgery to correct my foot; he said to have another surgery within a 3 year time span or I would have permanent and irreversible damage. I had to take time off from college due to this terrible experience.

extremely sorry that I wasted my time. You know how a person can take an immediate dislike to a person? That's my story. He was rude coming into the room. He is one of those obnoxious know it alls. This man would never be someone that would operate on me. First of all he probably looked on the health background sheet and saw I was an RN. God forbid I might know a thing or two--TOO BAD! You are just the kind of doctor I don't like. In a hurry and rude with the personality of a brick' The kind that has a lot of concessions to make lots of $$$$$$$$$! You can't be a good doctor until you're a good person and I think it's too late...

Dr Borovoy did corrective surgery on my foot about 5 years ago. After recovery I was fitted for inserts in my shoes. Today both my feet are so much better that I can not remember which foot had the original issue. I am in the catering business and spend long hours on my feet. I am grateful for Dr Borovoy and his staff.

Successfully performed two surgeries on my foot for different conditions. Fixed problem ignored by other Podiatrist. Also successful surgery on son's foot. Knowledgeable and efficient. To the point. Would recommend.

Dr. Borovoy performed a bunionectomy on my foot years ago. He overcorrected so that my toe sticks out to the side. Shoes don't fit anymore and now it has caused arthritis, cysts and bone spurs the require additional surgery. Stay away from this doctor!

I have always had good luck with the staff at the desk. This is big for me as well as the doctor. The nursing staff was good. One that I did not care for. (she was not nolidgeable) however I think that Dr. Borovoy is a great doctor. Very up to date with everything. I had a major surgery on my foot and am doing great one ur. Later!
