I'm a skeptic when it comes to doctors, but I decided to give it a try since I heard about my favorite actor -from India- claiming that Dr. Desai saved his life. The parking was a bit confusing at first, but I was able to figure it out. My office visit was fast, efficient, and the Dr. took care of my concerns, spent time dealing with my questions. (Yes, I asked about that Actor, but the Doc didn't say much, other than he's been trusted to work with a number of people that work in the Bollywood Film Industry, and that he's humbled by it). The staff was helpful and Dominic knew how to ease all over of my worries. It's a great clinic. I would come back again. Although a medical practice is not exactly something I would look forward too...

***They've hit me with a completely unreasonable $20,000 bill that my insurance wont cover due to Dr Desai's negligence and poor customer service. A little research tells me that procedure I got should cost no more than $2500***

I went in to see Dr Desai with random stomach pains when I would eat. He recommended an upper endoscopy.

I was freaking out because I had never been put under before. The first thing that turned me off was after the procedure, Dr Desai barely spent any time with me to explain what was going on and why. He basically said take this prescription for 3 months, it's gastritis, here are some pics, see you later. Literally under 2 minutes. My husband asked if I could take antibiotics for something else, and he said sure. I don't like taking antibiotics so I asked if he would recommend I take them, and he said no.. That was my first red flag, why say I can take something you DONT recommend without advising me?

Anyways, thats not even the bad part...

I went through my insurance network to find Dr Desai. Apparently, the anesthesiologist is out of network so I got a bill for $2500, which I was not expecting. It showed that my insurance was covering $0. I logged in to my insurance account to find another "out of network claim" for $18,000 for where they do the procedure!! WHY would he send me to places that are out of network without telling me or advising me? I'm VERY unhappy right now.

Horrible, horrible customer service. I do not recommend Dr Desai to anyone.

Dr. Desai is awesome. He took the time to diagnose and most importantly listen to me. He is the best.

Dr. Desai is not only brilliant but very kind. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist. D. Lesin.
