Went for Sonohysterogram, Dr. Sullivan was 30 minutes late, and hurt me when inserting the speculum by, for lack of better terms, jabbing it into me. I’ve had a speculum inserted before, and it has never been close to this kind of pain. His staff also had me sign a consent of some sort in the middle of the procedure while I was fighting back tears from the unexpected pain. He mentioned a cramping feeling, which I had, but this stabbing sensation from the speculum still has me in pain several hours later. He gave me attitude for birth control being a last resort for me, as I’m not sexually active and I would like to avoid all of the different side effects it. I left in tears because of the pain and lack of understanding, support, or empathy from this doctor. I felt completely unheard. I was skeptical of a male gynecologist beforehand, but was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and went in with an open mind, however, this experience left a poor taste in my mouth, and I regret not trusting my gut instinct. His female staff, on the other hand, were very nice, communicative, helpful, and empathetic.

Dr Sullivan is awesome. I was very comfortable with him, and he is very down to earth and easy to talk to. Glad I went to see him.

Excellent doctor..always makes you feel comfortable...down to earth personality...all around would recommend Dr Sullivan..

One of the worst ob/gyn's I've ever been to. Always would be late and put me on medication that could have caused serious problems if I continued being on after consulting a doctor. Would NOT recommend.
