I’ve been going to Dr. Crowe for several years but her wait times just get longer and longer. Last visit was in examining room for an hour with no one coming in to let me know what was happening. Walked out and will not be back.

Been a patient for many years I would say she has to many patients and has lost touch with being a doctor.

We have had a couple different OB GYNs and most of those doctors are always one way or another pushing for unnecessary procedures and treatments and their attitudes are not understanding and just simply superficial, Dr. Crow on the other hand she has proven to us that there is caring and understanding in treatment and that human touch is hard to get around. We are thankful we have found the right doctor and that is just awesome.

I went to Dr. Crowe to rule out and manage PCOS as recommended by my endocrinologist. Dr. Crowe suggested birth control pills, which I was very adamant against taking. I do not do well on hormonal BC. She kept pushing them, sent a prescription to my pharmacy, and made sure I left her office with samples...of a drug that I told her I didn't want to take. Then at the second visit, the first words out of her mouth were "So, why aren't you taking the birth control I prescribed you?" On the first visit, she wanted me to do some lab work, but instead of writing lab work up for me, she wrote down on a post-it note which labs she wanted drawn, then told me to tell my other Dr. so he could tack it onto his paperwork. It was difficult to do, so I didn't end up getting those labs drawn. She should have just sent me to the lab on her own! She splits up everything so you have to come back for more appointments. I told them I needed an transvaginal ultrasound (as recommended by my endocrinologist) while making my appointment for the first visit, and on my first visit, they told me I'd have to come back for it on a different day when the technician was working. Why couldn't they tell me that when I was making my appointment? It became 2 appointments now instead of 1. And she's incredibly aloof and doesn't listen to what you're telling her. Since she didn't bother to order lab work for me, I was telling her what the lab work looked like for my thyroid workup. On the first visit she said it "looked like I may have PCOS." I asked about putting me on metformin, and she said she didn't want to do that because it's a diabetes drug (it's also used for PCOS). During the second visit, I told her about how my androgen levels were now high, and she didn't listen. I asked if I for sure had PCOS, and she said "No, because your androgen levels weren't high." I told her they were high (again), and she said "Oops, then yes you have PCOS." So aloof. Then I told her how my other doctor put me on metformin (he knew to do it without my asking) and she said, "Oh ok! Good idea." So dumb. She keeps wanting me to come in for ultrasounds just to make sure my common and unremarkable cysts don't suddenly turn into cancer! What a joke. I have PCOS. Cysts are normal. She spends maybe 4 minutes in the room with you with her own pre-made agenda. Avoid this one.

Very fast visit. Spent very little time seeing the doctor (~5 minutes). Came in, didn't ask about my medical history ( which you'd think was important considering it was my 1st visit there) or ask me if I had any issues or concerns I wanted to talk about. Just did the exam and left. Previous GYN's I have been too have been much more helpful and concerned about my well being. Definitely get the "bring in as many patients as possible to make money" vibe here. As a point of comparison, had my annual physical at my general physician the week before getting my annual well woman exam with this doctor... the general physician spent around 30 minutes doing the exam, walking me through what he was going to do, asking about my family history, etc. The differences between the physician attitudes towards patients was night and day when comparing these 2 experiences.

Dr Crowe is a so sweet and easy to relate to. I had been having problems with hormones and pain that 4 other doctors could not figure out. She started me on treatment and I feel like a new woman. The office staff is very nice and accommodating.

I’ve been duped. I was told to take a series of tests that were “required” as my first prenatal visit. I was give a cystic fibrosis test for $1300 and then found out afterwards that since I had already taken it once (for a previous pregnancy and it is a genetic disorder) I didn’t need it again. Of course my insurance agreed and I am now forced to pay this bill out of pocket!!! I even asked Dr. Crowe in person and she said “No, you didn’t need to take that test.” Woops! You couldn’t have told me that before you made me take it!!! Or at least done something to remedy my empty pocket?

Dr. Crowe is not able to conceptualize the interaction of woman's individual hormones nor how vital they are to a women's well being. The visits were brief because she was too busy taking in new patients. I have seen 4 in the one hour I have waited for her at times only to see her for 5-10 minutes, but yet paid for extended visits. I have ahd to suffer through months of low doses of hormones. It was actually Dr. Blonder who created my dilemma with the hsyterectomy without follow up hormones. With his lack of knowledge I changed to Dr. Crowe, who did not exhibit any empathy, and created a situation in which I had to try and find another physician who prescribed bio-identical, which was difficult at that time. They seem to be more interested in Quantity rather than Quality to pay for their new office building. I would never reccomnd any one to see this physician.
