Dr Backstrom is a practitioner who looks at you as a whole person, instead of as a diagnosis. I tried the traditional medicine approach of cortisone shots, ibuprofen, and splinting, which left me with side effects and continued pain. Dr B got to the root of the problem and after 6 weeks of holistic care, I am free of pain and able to do the things I love (even play the piano!). I am ecstatic with the improvement and recommend his practice without hesitation!

I am a 73 year old male with diabetes. I just had my first treatment on the "Power Plate" at Backstrom Chiropractic & Wellness. Before the treatment my legs hurt, with the feeling of spiders crawling on my legs, which I have had for a couple of years. I have extreme pain most of the time in my legs and can only walk short distances. Getting up and down is hard. During my first treatment on the Power Plate, the "tingling" sensation on my legs felt awesome! The vibration stimulated the blood flow in my legs and it felt super! After my treatment I stood up and my feet and legs felt normal without the hurt from the diabetes. Several days after my treatment, I was still able to walk around without the pain! I felt young again...like in my 40's! I guarantee...after you first treatment you will want to walk again!

Dr. Backstrom and his staff are incredibly helpful. I always enjoy going there and notice great improvements in how I am feeling. Dr. Backstrom practices holistic medicine and is more than willing to explain any of his practices if you choose to inquire. His practice is not a typical "crack and leave" practice where you continue to come back for the exact same therapy every week. He truly helps to reprogram your body for better functioning because your body can repair itself if it is working correctly. My only complaint would be punctuality, but the only reason he runs behind is because he is giving the highest quality care to each and every one of his patients.

Not very knowledgeable at all, sat me on a table most of the time and had me do stretches while shining "lasers" to stimulate the mitochondria in my cells, while he walked away and tended to other patients. Staff never let me know about my insurances co payment option, always just said "Still waiting for a response, so it's free" then one day I'm hit with a bill from them asking for over 250 dollars. Walked away from further treatment because I saw NO improvement what so ever
