Pain management is all he will do. New symptoms aren't his concern, referrals are out of the question. Even though he is a pleasant man and I like him, I feel like I'm a revolving pattern. Treatment and prescriptions, come back in 3 months and repeat. My condition is worse now and he can't be less interested. I clearly need pain management, but maybe not this kind. Also, my medicine has not been adjusted or changed in ten years. Even this I've tried to ask him about and he looks right through me.
So many of us need help, but I feel this is a money factory. Keep patients coming and get them in the back for those injections.
