I would not recommend Dr. Wadwekar. He really doesn’t listen to your concerns. I moved here from Colorado. I brought all my records from my pervious Endocrinologist. So he could see my history of Hashimoto’s disease. I have been on synthriod for 20 years. He did new blood work it showed my 3T was low. I was losing a lot of hair at this point. He said he could put me on medicine that my help boost my 3T. I said I would prefer not to take an additional medicine. He then suggested whiching me to Trinsont. Which I agreed. Then he said his experience with giving patients additional
3T isn’t really very effective. Did blood work again in 3 months. My numbers across the board were worse on this medicine. Then he puts me on Armored Thyroid which made my TSH go up to 6.0.
Then again whiching it back to Triosint. Which didn’t work in the first place. I know it’s trial and error. He put me back on the medicine that didn’t work before. He wanted me to order from willows pharamacy. He said it is the same price as CVS. Which it is. This company doesn’t take insurance. In my opinion it is all about fattening his wallet not about what is best for his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr Wadwekar's for many years and have NEVER had a bad experience with him. He remembers from appointment to appointment what challenges I am having, not just with my illness, but also in my family and never fails to ask about them as he understand how important how the body - mind connection is. Using the patient portal is not alway convenient for the patient but office staff have NEVER failed to return my calls in a timely manner. On one occasion one member of the staff was a bit curt but only once and never the doctor. I have never needed to be reminded of rescheduling policies. I have never seen the assistant or a .P.A. except when I needed assistance with my insulin pump. I have questioned him often about my medications and he sits down to speak with me giving me his take on the situation. Maybe the difference is that I used to be married to a physician and understand they are not gods, they are imperfect people doing the best they can for all of us. Dr Wadwekar is one of the best.

I have been a patient of Dr Wadwekar for many years. He was very helpful to me after my cancer. However the policy about rescheduling seems to have changed and for the first time in years I received a message that rescheduling more than twice would jeopardize my status of patient in this practice and my appointment was pushed months ahead. I was sick the second time, how could I've prevented this from happening? Now and in the future? Life is not always kind to us.

He is always in a hurry. There is no follow through. And you cannot question him - after a year on a med which was causing me significant side effects, i was trying to determine what the benefit was. Apparently that was not acceptable to question him. i think if you just need someone to monitor an existing condition that is under control and give you med refills, he is your doc. but diagnostically? or you don't want pills without explanation? go elsewhere.

Do not waste your time with this Dr. I know how important health is and he just does not care. He will not spend any time with you and does not try to find resolution or have a goal to get you on track.

Will cancel and drop you as a patient if you miss more than one visit ever if you have a good reason , like you were in the hospital. Spends 5 minutes with you , no longer , very rushed. Must be seen every 3 months to get a Ned refill. Staff rude and lack communication skills.

Horrible Doctor. He will refuse to see you if you cancel more than three appointments in a year, even if it is due to hospital stays. Also his office staff is very rude. Definitely would not recommend!

Dr. Devendra G. Wadwekar has been in a larger new location for a while and now the waiting time is minimal. I have thyroid cancer and he has been following my condition for four years. Yes, to go through a patient portal is now preferred but I personally love this, easy to manage and I get a response/appointment/refill the following day. I'm surprised to read the comment below as my phone calls were always returned in the past.

When I called to schedule a new patient appointment, I was sent to a voicemail. It stated that the quickest way to get an appointment was to register on their patient portal. Even for new patients. So I did. Waited a few days with no response. I called today and left another voicemail as it is extremely difficult to reach a live person in this office. I logged onto my patient portal to only get a message that I need to call the office to schedule. Seems like a run around. I will be going somewhere else as this is a poorly ran office from what I have seen so far.
