I was referred to this doctor after a routine physical found enlarged lymph nodes in my throat in April 2012. After waiting a good 30-45 minutes, the dr came in and asked "what brings you here today?" Seriously...read the chart before you come in! Then while I was talking to him, he took a call on his phone 2 feet away from me!! I heard patient names and diagnosis!! HIPAA RED FLAGS!!! (Good thing I have a bad memory and didn't remember the patient names!) He scheduled me to come back for a FNA (after he came back from vacation) and while I was laying on the table for the procedure, all drugged up (seriously needle phobic here!) with 2 Valium and a hydrocodone, he decided to NOT do the FNA and just check me again in 6 months!! Then at my 6 mo check up, he said my nodule had grown and there was now a 2nd one and he just said he would check me every 12 months from that point!! (Still no FNA!) Now....last Fall I was trying to get life insurance and my application was cancelled because first Dr. Wadwekar's office told the Life Insurance Co. that they had NO RECORD of me ever being a patient there!! My Primary Dr. office never received Biopsy (FNA) Results (cause it was never done!) and that messed up my Life Insurance too!!! So now I have to try to get my records from Dr. W's office for both my Life Insurance application as well as to take to a different Endocrinologist!! (I now have more swollen lymph nodes in my neck as well as in my leg!) I would NOT recommend this doctor!!!

Doctor is great. Set up for accessing is horrible. There is absolutely no way to speak to a person as calls are directed to a web site. this web access portal does not work well as passwords appear to reset/user names that were used previously are no longer valid and there is no way to make a simple request other than with this portal unless you leave a message to the office manager who will never return your calls. The doctor is great and really listens this is the only reason I put up with such unsatisfactory service from the office manager.

They never answer the phone or call you back. The wait time is horrific. I always wait. I once waited 1.5 hours. The doctor never reviews my file in advance. He doesn't provide advice or walk me through my conditions. I authored to change doctors and they would not call me back to release my records. I'm glad he makes so much money for not doing much....

He was point on with diagnosing my thyroid cancer. Follow-up appts have been thorough and detailed. Great "bedside" manners. Highly recommended.

I have had no problems whatsoever with Dr. Wadwekar, promptness, prescription renewal, lab work, or treatment. He is knowledgeable, helpful, and direct.

Poor listening skills. Answers and recommendations were generic/scripted. I may have well been talking to a call center in India. People skills were nonexistent.

I have been with this provider for a year now.Was happy and was thrilled when I saw him the hospital as well. Later on I found out that he is the only endocrinologist that also takes care of patients in the hospital. I am glad I chose him over others.

I had a scheduled in office fine needle aspiration and when I showed up for my appointment the office was closed. Phone went unanswered and when I emailed the address of the website I was replied to stating the office was closed today! How can a doctor schedule an appointment and then have the office closed and not notify any of the patients. Horrible service! I wasted a vacation day so I could have this done. Also, no one calls to confirm appointments. i realize this is a new practice but as a new practice i would think you would want to be sure everything ran smoothly to keep the few patients you do have. I am calling my family doctor to have a different endocrine doctor referred.

Very knowledgeable and has a lot of common sense. He has an online website where you can actually write the doctor if you have a question or concern and he will write back. You also have acess to him by leaving a message after hours and he will call from his cell phone. Where do you find an endo doctor that will do that any more. I need my medication made at a compounding pharmacy and he didn't blink an eye, just picked up the phone and called in a perscription. I am more than pleased with this doctor and have recommended him to several people that need his expertise.
