My sister was operated on by this doctor and was NOT given compression sleeves on her legs to help prevent blood clots until nearly 48 hours following. She was not advised to stop taking birth control pill Yaz and it is known to increase chances of blood clots. She was not given proper guidance on how to move to keep blood flowing; in fact she was advised not to move much and was told if she did she could break bones and Never recover. She was given an ill fitting, tight antiquated leg cast.She returned for follow up visits, complaining of pain and discomfort and was rudely dismissed. At no point during these visits did this doctor conduct an ultrasound. This type of dismissive behavior continued right up until her last visit a few days before she took a cross-country flight during which she inquired if it was safe; she was tersely told there was nothing to worry about.She went on her trip a day later and died when she landed to transfer flights from a pulmonary embolism from a blood clot

This doctor is awesome, I was very young when I had broken a piece of my elbow off on my growth plate. The hospital I went to would not touch my arm because of how risky the surgery was. So they sent me to him, and he looked at the x rays to determine that I needed emergency surgery. I went in that morning for surgery and it was successful. My arm works to its full potential still. I am so lucky I had such a great doctor that took care of me.

Mis-diagnosis and poor bedside manner. I would not recommend this doctor.

I saw him in 2004 to be treated for scoliosis I had two curves he said I would be finer no treatment needed. Well I've been having back issues and go to another ortho I provided all supporting documents from Dr slavin and this new doc was in shock I now have serve scoliosis that could've Bern prevented and treated. Note it's s waiting game of if at 25 years old it gets worse or my disks deteriorate my hips are unevenso are my shoulders my posture is horrible. I thought all of this time I was fine but I started getting comments about how I walk with a limp and how I lean to one side. More I'm stuck with this

This Doctor told us our grandson was scolious free it when he was examined at Albany Medical it was determined he has a 40% bend in his spine.
