Dr Allen is the best! I adore her...even after a painful biopsy, she managed to make me laugh and feel at ease. I wish I wasn't leaving CA...I'd never leave her for any other reason!! :(

She delivered my baby a year ago.I wanted to have a natural birth but i ended up with a C-section after 33hours of labor. She was great during my pregnancy visits and was very professional and knowledgable through my labor and surgery. I would refer her to anyone because she's great.

Interesting when I signed up with Mrs. Allen she was on maternity leave. A month or so after my first visit with her stand in she called just to check in on me. I thought this was very nice and caring. I also had heard from the specialist how great she was as a Dr. BUT her staff. Horrible. I only stayed with Dr. Allen so long because of her phone call and how helpful she was on that call. SInce her return I have spoke with her and the tone was very distant, non relaxing, tense, non inviting. I changed Dr.'s immediatley. The Dr. needs to really take a closer look at her staff and not be so eager to beleive only what they have stated the issue may have been. VERY VERY dissatified with this Dr. whom I had the greatest hopes for.

Dr. Allen is my favorite OB. When I relocated to the South Bay, I was referred to her. And as other women know, it is difficult to find a new OB. Although Dr. Allen was away from her office on medical leave, she still called me to check on me because I just learned I was pregnant. I have never had a doctor do this on their own time. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD OB - SHE'S THE ONE, HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!

dr. Allen was very nice and made me feel very confortable, so that scary feeling turned into a calming feeling. I would recommend her to anyone. But just her office staff I think they need to give more attention to their pts and make them feel confortable around them and also be more supportive.

Dr. Allen is by-far the best MD-OBGYN out there. I had a very rough pregnancy which included twins at the beginning, bleeding throughout the entire pregnancy and placenta previa throughout. I came to her at about 16 weeks along because I felt un-cared for by my previous OB. She was able to see me right away. She spends so much time in the room with you to make sure all of your questions are answers. I was hospitalized at 33 weeks due to hemorraging & early contractions. That resolved and then I delivered 3 weeks early via c-section. We are so happy with our miracle baby. Everything was perfect. She did an A+ job on the c-section and was so calm and caring and talked me through the entire c-section with added humor. SHE IS AWESOME and I can't believe anyone would have a bad experience with her. She is a great listener and takes such special care as though you are a member of her family! I love Dr. Allen! ---signed Liz C.

I had a great experience with Dr. Allen. She was very professional yet personal. During scheduled appointments, she was always punctual, never having to wait extreme long periods of time. She answered all of my questions and concerns with satisfactory and high level medical knowledge, putting me at ease. She genuinely seemed concerned analyzing my health history and targeted key milestones for follow-up. Her staff is highly trained and provide a warm atmosphere.During labor and delivery,I barely made it to the hospital before delivery. She responded quickly to the nurses call even before my husband did!! Despite my frenzy of panic(no time for an epidural), she acted with the poise of an experienced and sensitive doctor. Anyone that can calm a woman down during the peak of labor pains and knowing full well that an epidural is not an option gets my vote!!I would definitely recommend Dr Allen to anyone!!

I trusted Dr. Allen throughout my pregnancy but when it was time for delivery, I was told she was not available and I ended up with a c-section. The c-section itself was not her fault of course and all due to US maternity routine that I was not well aware of. However, Dr. Allen did not see me during recovery AND any of the checkups and I am feeling very bummed about that. I feel that the crappy c-section was merely an overreaction of the OB on duty because she did not know my case like Dr. Allen did. In fact, I have not seen her since my 39 weeks check up and won't see her again as naturally, I switched doctors.
