Dr.Imaeda has been our family's dermatologist for approximately 5 years. At first he was my doctor only. And yet when my wife developed a large and strange looking mole he examined it during one of my appointments, and without any reservation removed it. When we have a suspicion that something is abnormal, he has a policy of allowing five-minute appointments to examine one mole. He has always been thoughtful in explaining the origin of an abnormality, and the alternative tactics for dealing with it.
In contrast to a previous dermatologist whom I had with an "if in doubt-cut it out" policy, Dr.Imaeda has always tried to find the therapy appropriate to a particular diagnosis. Moreover, he is gentle in his treatment, in contrast to that prior dermatologist who removed a mole from my back-without using anesthetic..
