I made the appointment to Dr. Matey in May 2022 to check my veins on the legs. I had a few varicose veins on both legs. I did not have a pain in the legs or legs swelling.
Dr. Matey check my veins and said that I have a three veins that not working and they need to be treated by sclerotherapy.
On my last visit in August 2022 he said that treatment is over. In October I noticed the pain in the legs and legs swelling. Also many additional veins pop up on the both legs. From the first procedure I had a numb area on the left knee and it lasts 6 months and still there.
Dr. Matey made a huge damage to my health.

This Doctor Is Horrible
He is Very Verbally ABUSIVE
Hes All right and the Patient paying is all wrong
He Cant Hold a conversation with a patient without yelling
DONT GO TO HIM STAY AWAY

The problems continue. He is still rude and intimidating. After seeing him, I got a second opinion and I am glad I did. He has branched out into other services. Patient beware. Proceed with caution if you decide to see him.

I brought my 12 year old son to see this guy. He was in my opinion completely unprofessional and when I disagreed with him about the course of treatment he pulled me out of the examination room and in my opinion tried to intimidate me into agreeing with him. He told me if I didn't like it I could leave. I left. I would no more trust this guy to touch my son than I would trust a fox to watch a hen house. Oddly his front desk and nursing staff was really nice and I felt bad for them that they were stuck with this rude jerk. Since he refuse to treat my 12 year old I have no idea whether he is any good at actually being a foot doctor but I can tell you if his manners are any indication I'll be telling my friends to just stay away.

Did not follow through with treatment. Would not respond to phone calls concerning treatment after vein surgery.
