Dr. Liber has put my daughters as well as myself back together for many years. Being a coach I have seen him work miracles with many athletes.
He is not average as I would rate him to be excellent. There are a lot of good Orthopedic Doctors out there.
He’s the one I want when it comes to Orthopedic work!

Went in for a broken shoulder, he charged me over $1200 for a 15 minute office visit!!!! After speaking with MANY people (at least 7) in the office, no one can tell me why the $1200 charge... no one! I was bounced from person to person and still no one knows. He acted as if I should have known the answers to my questions, he deals with broken bones daily... not me! I do not like him, I do not appreciate the staffs lack of ability to help, I will not go back!!

I had an appointment today for my shoulder.

The doctor came in, rather punctually (though he appeared quite disheveled given his random patchwork facial hair), shook my hand, sat down, looked at my 3 x rays in under 30 seconds, and said that my shoulder looks fine.

He asked me how this injury happened and, after I explained that it happened during working out/weight lifting. He then proceeded to tell me that weightlifting is bad for my shoulder with no suggestions for what to do instead. He then began to maneuver my shoulder and did roughly 4 special tests without even having me get into proper positioning. I explained that I'm an athletic trainer and that I've tried to deduce some possible diagnoses - but this information seemed to go in one ear and out the other.

We briefly talked about the pain while he stood on the opposite side of the room, nearest the exit. He ran through the same special tests again - in the same inappropriate manner - and told me that he could prescribe me some anti-inflammatory medicine or I could just take some Aleve. He also told me to continue exercising my shoulder - even though working out/weight lifting is bad for your shoulder apparently (again, no explanation) - and that if things got worse, that I could come back for a cortisone injection...

He then left the room with a quick hand shake and appeared as though he couldn't get out of the room fast enough.

This man has terrible bedside manner and if by far one of the worst physicians that I have dealt with. I've already called BCBS and filed a formal complaint about him. I suggested that they deny his claim once placed, but we'll see what happens. Do not waste your time or money with this "physician".

My worst doctor experience ever! As an orthopedic specialist he lacks communication skills, expertise and just plain manners. Read all patient reviews before consider wasting your time and money with this doctor.

I agree with the bad reviews. Dr Lieber painted a rosie picture before surgery but was condescending and dismissive afterwords. 9 months since surgery and I am in worse pain than before. My road to recovery is very iffy NOW, and I still can't work. Really wish I read his reviews first.
