Does not listen to patient. Is rude, didn't close door and continually walked in and out of room when talking to patient

Had THR from Allan, have not seen him sense. Instead I have seen his physician assistant, Marty, for the 3 week visit and am scheduled to see Marty again at the 9 week follow up. I wanted a Dr. that was the best at surgery, did not care if he was a chatty Kathy as long as he would listen and answer my questions, which he did at first. I feel like he is an absent Dr. at this point in my recovery. I gave the staff 4 stars because it depends on who you have interaction with, the majority of them are friendly and courteous and his nurse is top notch.

Dr. Gordon Allan is an excellent and exceptional physician. I was very pleased with him taking the time with me as a patient. His works is clean and the final results are amazing. I give him a 5-star ⭐️

Dr, Allen is an incredible orthopedic doctor. He has operated on most of my family and we refer to him as our "Orthopedic God,". I would feel safe as long as I was in his hands. They don't come with anymore expertise than him. God bless him.

Well I have had three hip replacements before I met dr. Alan once I seen him I was scared to death to have another hip replacement knowing what I'd already been through in the last year-and-a-half one thing I can say this doctor dr. Alan is the best most experienced doctor I have ever experienced I would recommend him to anybody for failed hip replacement the doctors I had before had me really messed up I went through depression and thought my life was over I couldn't play with my grandkids I couldn't enjoy my wife and I thought my life is what it was going to be this doctor has changed my life in more ways than one I would love for everyone to know if you ever ever need a doctor to fix another doctors mess up this is a doctor you need he is a most compassionate wonderfully experienced people around him and I could not have found a better person to make my life better I feel like all my life to him I think you so much dr. Island if you read this you are definitely one in a million and I'm not afraid to put my name out there my name is Tom Ryan thank you dr. Island you mean so much to me and my family

Five years ago I had a Dr. Allan hip replacement. I was so delighted, I've sent about 12 friends, all of whom have been deliriously happy about the results. He is fantastic!!!

Had right knee replaced for a second time. I hear Dr. Allan is one of the best. I couldn't ask for a better job on my knee.

I had my left knee replaced in 2014 by Dr. Allan. He is a man of few words but I think he's the best Orthopedic surgeon in Springfield. I recently began seeing him again for my right knee and had my first injection which has helped greatly. I'm sure I will be having it replaced sometime in the future but very happy that he was willing to let me try injections as they worked for a very long time with my other knee. Thanks, Dr. Allan.

I was waiting for so long to be diagnosed but Dr. Allan reviewed my condition and had me in emergency surgery the next day. Thank you for the expert attention and quick decisive action to save me from a bad fracture.

Replaced my 83 yr old Mother's hip. He is the VERY VERY VERY best! Other Dr.'s have told me he is a genius and highly recommend him as well.
