Dr Hawthorne is an excellent podiatrist in Hermitage, TN. He and his staff have helped alliviate bone spurs and plantar fascitis. My ONLY complaint is the wait time, but I believe that is due to the fact that he is such a goof doctor with a great personality who actually takes the necessarry time to listen to his patient's problems unlike most doctors who whisk in and whisk out these days. I would definitely reccomend him as apodiatrist. I read a bad review on him about a surgery he performed on someone's daughter, but anyone with any common healthcare knowledge should know to seek a surgeon for surgery and not a podiatrist. Also, feet surgery is harder to recover from since it is furthest from the heart meaning low blood flow and circulation

Dr Hawthorn in not a good doctor. Dr. Hawthorn performed bunion surgery on me. After 8 weeks my toe had not healed. He performed a 2nd surgery with the same result. I then went to a different doctor and he corrected Hawthorns mistakes. I was back on my feet in 6 weeks after third surgery. I wasted 4 months with Hawthorn and a lot pain and money. Do not let Dr Hawthorn operate on you there are much better doctors in Nashville.
