Dr Smaldino saved myfoot and toes from amputation. I am diabetic.Went to ER with a temp of 103.8.The blood cultures were positive for Staph. infection. MRI showed starts of bacteria to my bone.He debreeded,and his care over a peroid of three months(diabetic healing is slow)His persistance in weekly appointments, and visiting nurses changing wound dressings every other day.His steadfastness saved my foot! I found him up beat, caring, and he really knows his stuff.I am still under his care as my wound are still healing.He is my HERO.He is a very busy Dr.It may seem to some he is in and out fast on appointments.The time he spends is professional. He does what is necessary, His staff helps with the dressing of wounds.Time is spent in a professional way and If it were not for his care I may have lost my foot.Thank you Dr. Smaldino.Your the best! Doctor and assisting staff totally disinterested in my injury. Did not show me my x ray, spent less than 10 total minutes with me across 2 appointments, and only recommended I take stronger pain medication and return to the work that was causing debilitating pain and complete immobility of my foot on a daily basis. Easily the most irresponsible and uncaring medical professional I have ever gone to. Avoid visiting Dr. Smaldino if you have an injury which needs actual treatment.

Spent 3 min. for ganglion cyst. Supposedly injected cortisone into it, but missed it, and I was billed for aspiration as well. He was ready to go next door OR for removal of cyst. Will not go back.

This man is a complete money hungry maniac, He is extremely unethical and runs his business like an assembly line spending 2 minutes with each patient then going to the next without listening to anyone. HE NEEDS STOPPED! DO NOT GO TO THIS MORON...

both my kids have seen him when there were foot issues and he is one of the most caring doctors i know. Had he not been in the presence of my ex- who was complaining of foot pain he would probably have died. He was persistent in having him seek further care(as he had just been to his GP twice with a missed
diagnosis) and ended up being diagnosed with MRSA by Dr. Smaldino at the ball field(off duty) but because he cared! Thank you Dr. Smaldino for being someone who has gone the extra mile in your profession!

I was referred to Dr. Smalldino by a friend of mine. I had been to another foot doctor numerous times for heel spurs. I had injections, orthotics, medications, and nothing worked. Dr. Smalldino had me diagnosed, fixed and recovered within 3 weeks. I have been dealing with severe foot pain for well over a yr. I drove almost 2 hrs, 4 times total to have my foot fixed and pain free. I would (and have) recommend Dr. Smalldino to anyone with foot pain. Great experience!! THANKS DOC!
