The doctor was very helpful and nice, her staff however was very rude and seemed to be in a hurry. I didnt wait long, maybe 10 minutes, the office off of Brooklyn was very nice and big. I had to call the office for a pregnancy question (im 6 months) and the nurse or receptionist was quick to say that it was all normal so I set an appointment anyways to make sure. Dr. Gutierrez has been my favorite OB Dr. so far, Im very pleased with her.

I came to see this doctor 5 years or so ago for very bad cramping and heavy bleeding. After some exams and tests I was diagnosed with having a "tumor" in my abdomen that needed removal right away. I should have gotten a second opinion, but much to my dismay agreed to having the surgery that I am truly suffering for today - this doctor never really consulted me at all...surgery was the only option in her eyes. Beware - she will ruin your life!

I dont know... first real OBGYN since plan parenthood so I kind of preferred her over that. She talked to me about the kind of birth control I wanted to take and answered all my questions. I thought she was okay despite all the negative remarks. Im just glad I found someone who took medicaid. Only thing is... she always looked super surprised! O_O

BIG negative! staff was rude, and obviously had problem with eachother, then taking it out on patients. she never really tolled me anything diffrent just the same thing every time. she wasnt hardly there for my birth, just to pull my sons body out. i never saw her again! i didnt not like the way she never gave me new, or diffrent information, didnt have much to say, always on edge, and no personality? i regret going there, wish i would have experienced my first els where. stay away!

She appears nice but ends up making to many decisions for you. she induced me because she was going out of town around my due date, and of course i trusted her in thinking that this was the best thing to do. SO NOT, i ended up with an emergency c-section because my body just wasn't ready to be in labor yet, i had yet another week or so to go. She didn't really try to connect and show concern and create a relationship with me. it really was NOT ideal.

I have had nothing but trouble since I started going to this office and using this doctor. At my 1st appt, the staff had verified the wrong ins carrier, but would not see me until they corrected the error and knew they were going to get paid - it took over an hour to get seen. My 2nd appt came with the same incorrect ins verification, so I had to wait until they were sure they were going to get paid - another hour and a half waiting to get just to the back. I waited an additional 45 minutes for the doctor. If I ask too many questions, that the dr doesn't want to hear, she gets put off, and since I have caught the errors of the staff they have been just as rude. The office is not welcoming - scratched paint, dirty looking rooms, and bad attitudes all around. I also feel like my insurance payments are more important than my issues here. Stay away!
