I saw the midwives for my whole pregnancy and had to have an emergency C-section. Dr. Swanson delivered my daughter & that was the first time I saw him & LOVED HIM! He was very laid back & relaxed and just seemed very casual but very informative. while prepping me for my C-section and the madness was going on he stood in front of me and explained to me what was going on and what was going to happen in the OR room with the c section! I was given the choice to see him or the midwives for my 6 week appt. and I followed up with him & really enjoyed him! His dad is our pediatrician and I had him as my pediatrician when I was a baby and he is just as AMAZING! I saw the midwives cause that's who I saw as a teen for my exams and was comfortable with female obgyns, but after having a baby, that's obviously not the problem anymore!

He was quick to diagnose PCOS - although I was referred there for that specific reason by another dr. Wanted to try the wait and see approach, but I refused. Sent me home with meds and hasn't been concerned since. Happy with the diagnosis, but don't think he's real motivated to do anything after that. Very nice - that's a positive.
