BEWARE OF THIS QUACK!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! LIAR!!

I have ben going to Dr. Goberville for almost 20 years and now I will never go back to him again. I went on July 30th with my family to have our eye exams. We all purchased frames and ordered our lenses. I paid over $1,200.00. It is now September 23rd and We still do not have our glasses. I am told weekly that they should be in the next week due to supply chain issues from Covid. The supply chain issues have pretty much been remedied at this point, so clearly they are lying. The staff changes constantly. Something is going on there. I am so disgusted with this place now and as I said, I will NEVER go back to them again!

Very unprofessional and tried to overcharge me. My insurance covers 300.00 for contact lens yet when he came into the exam room looked at my file and said “Oh you only paid 108.00 last year which it what I owed. after the visit the office assistant stated I owed 332. I called my insurance co and placed the rep on speaker what my coverages are and yet still wanted to charge. He is not credible, clearly his only desire is to make a profit, and has no tact whatsoever. Stay away this guy is a joke!

I wish there was a no star option. Waited for over an hour with a young child. The staff never even said sorry for the long wait. Dr goberville then strolled in over an hour past my appt time with his gym bag and a smoothie like it was no big deal he was an hour late. He didn’t even introduce himself. He definitely thinks very highly of himself when in fact he was just awful. His attitude and bedside manor is atrocious. He should not call himself a pediatric opthamologist. He had the worst encounter with my daughter and was just flat out rude to her. I NEVER write reviews but had to with how disgusted I was with my experience.

Deceitful, lying, money-hungry person. Not pleasant gospels with and a complete rip off. Treats his patients like a dollar figure and nothing more.

Unprofessional, did not treat me well. The prescription was not usable. Unpleasant personality. not helpful. Staff unfriendly. I had to wait long times. Worst eye Dr experience ever.

Dr. Goberville. is very thorough with my husband and my annual eye exams each year. He does miminal dialation of your eyes (unless you need more) and that makes the entire exam more relaxing. I would highly recommend him to friends. Very patient and kind.
