It was absolutely horrible. After seen him 3 times before, gone through PT for months and no resolution , he told me that there was nothing wrong with me physically. In other words, I was making it up, so he told me to learn to live with the pain even though I told him the pain was so bad it made me cry. It turns out I had a torn labrum in my hip. I saw Dr Paul Chin, which I reAlly recommend. He did arthroscopic surgery and replace some of the labrum. Right after surgery my pain was gone. It is a long recovery, but well worth it.
Dr Blevins might be the worst doctor i have ever had. 😞

I saw Dr Blevins 10 yrs ago for plantar fascitis, his surgery was painless, slight scar not visible and my other foot was a 2 in scar by another doctor a year earlier! He is very competent. I'm calling him again for torn hamstrings and hope to have a good Recovery!

Worst Doctor I’ve Ever Seen! Absolutely no compassion, is only interested in the money and not the patient’s best interest and welfare. He never even touched my inflicted foot but rather dismissed me and let me know where the exit sign was to sign out. Thankfully, I found relief with a most compassionate and caring orthopedic surgeon who treated me with respect and compassion. This is something lacking In Dr. Blevins,

I was told by a different doctor six months ago that my foot issue (hallux rigidus) required surgery within the year or it would get so bad that the surgery would be MUCH worse. I’m so thankful that he wasn’t Tier I on my insurance, as it forced me to get a second opinion from Dr. Blevins yesterday. He could have so easily agreed with the other doctor after I told him about it. But instead he discouraged me from choosing surgery. He spent a great deal of time discussing other ideas that I should try first. It was one of the best, most comfortable conversations I’ve ever had with a doctor. It didn’t feel rushed, as it so often feels with too many doctors these days. I’m so glad I’ve found Dr. Blevins and will trust him to continue to guide me if the alternatives to surgery we discussed do not work!

Rudest and most conceded, pompous doctor I’ve ever been to. Went to him with a foot ailment; he wouldn’t even look at or touch my wounded foot. Told me I needed to do exercises. He then opened the door and told me where to go to sign out as I limped away.

Worst doctor I've ever been to. No compassion, no caring, no help at all with my infliction. Had to get a second opinion which cured me. Wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Will not go back to this doctor. He would not give me any additional information on my condition, didn't ask if I had questions and seemed indifferent. I guess he couldn't figure a surgery into the equation. I have been forced to google my condition and look into online forums to answer lingering questions I have. If you want a stuck-up, condescending doctor, Dr. Kelly Blevins is the one for you.

Dr. Blevins has a poor bedside manner and rushes you through your appointment. I felt like he didn't care anything about my condition, I am still in pain and he was most apathetic. He barely looked at my foot and made sarcastic remarks about prior surgeries; like I have any control over what other surgeons have done to my feet.
Dr. Blevins is not sympathetic, therefore a poor doctor.
