After many decades of seeing physicians of every sort, I can unequivocally say that Dr Carlson is, by a very large margin, the most aggravating and socially unconscious Dr. I have ever met. One has to actually become rude with him to even begin to be heard as he obviously enjoys the sound of his own voice to the exclusion of all others. I question his actual interest in what he does as his treatment is so cursory it reeks of apathy. I suspect that Dr Carlson is a very intelligent man, but his intelligence is lost amid his arrogance and apathy. I could forgive a unique, quirky or even somewhat irritating bedside manner, but when his poor manners and disinterest in his patients becomes dangerous to their health when he fails to address critical issues of concern. I think Dr. Carlson would serve his patients better by going back to his boat and the Sea of Cortez, and retiring again-this time for good.

I have been seeing Dr. Carlson since he took over Dr. Burke's practice... 5 years? If you don't want blunt truth... don't go to Carlson. He tells it like it is. Doesn't pull punches. If you're too fat. He's going to tell you... "You're too fat! Lose some weight." People who are used to the old style annual physical are not liking the government intervention into your style. Today, you go in after completing a form and if there is a complaint, it is addressed at the NEXT appointment. That's the way the Obama Adm re-styled health care! Carlson is competent, in my limited view. (I'm not a Dr. so I can't make that educated judgement as to "Knowledge.") Staff is VERY friendly. Punctuality? Tell me... what Dr is on time??? Carlson seems to be better than most!

Very rude and arrogant. Gave incorrect prescription for diabetic test strips and when asked to correct it, told me to change my test kit to match what he prescribed. Says he's the best in the area but attitude says differently. Will not be going back.

Of all the doctors I have had, Carlson is the absolute worst. Physical is abrupt,ear check, heart listen, lung listen and nothing more. No blood checks. He complains, insults and I question his education and competence. I dropped him after one visit. There is more.............................

curt, does not explain anything. has been downright rude at times. Very scant physical exams - a yearly exam takes about 5 minutes! Does send me to good specialists when needed.

This doctor is rude, curt, and just a traffic director. He will refer you to someone else for minor problems. He obviously does not have the knowledge or schooling it takes to care for patients. He cannot even admit you to the hospital! Be wary!!

Receptionist, curt. Medical assistant (?licensed or unlicensed?) appears to take on/be allowed to make medical decisions. Physician seems rushed, sarcastic. ?Unable to admit patients to local hospital?
