I had pain in my second little toe. I went in for a cortisone shot for the pain. After looking at ex-rays he told me I would have to have two surgeries. One for the severe bunion and later if needed to fix the little toe. He also was happy with my excellent insurance. After the first surgery, and not walking for months I noticed my toe didn't touch the ground wish I could add a picture because I can totally slide my cell phone under my toe with no problem it simply doesn't touch the floor. My balance is thrown off I have trouble with my arch. I would never recommend Him at all,

I went to see Doctor Nishimoto for a pain in my second little toe. He took x-rays and told me I would need two surgeries. starting with the extreme bunion. After the first surgery for the bunion and not walking for two months, I had pain in my big toe and it didn't touch the floor. This created a balance issue and put the weight again on my second little toe. I paid out of pocket for a surgery center 5000 dollars. After being in pain and so dissatisfied, He recommend physical therapy, to get the toe down. After going to physical therapy and looking at the e-xrays. I decided to get a second opinion. The next doctor said he put a pin in my toe when he broke the joint and it held up my toe. I called his office and requested him to not charge me further and take the further charges off. I do not recommend Doctor Nishimoto. I will have to go to another Doctor and have the toe broken again to solve the problem.

8/3/11:I saw Nishimoto for an ankle injury from 10 years ago that’s been getting worse w/time. 10 yrs ago a diff. doc said it was just a bad sprain! Nishimoto told me it had actually broke&now I’m experiencing arthritis. Nishimoto was very thorough when he explained the issue. He gave me tips&tricks to help w/the pain. I will follow his guidelines&visit him again in 3 weeks. Neither him nor his staff were pushy for me to buy any of the ankle products they showed me. They told me to look for similar ones online. It was comforting they truly care about your finances too! His office is out of network for my ins., but if I do have surgery or anything that will be a financial hit, Nishimoto told me he knows some excellent podiatrists that are in-network for me. He was very clear that he'd be happy to perform any necessary surgeries, but he wants me to know that if I choose to go in-network he will definitely help me make the right choice as far as surgeons go! I highly recommend Nishimoto!
