I never had the opportunity to meet Dr. Steinlauf. After waiting over an hour, and watching everyone else who came in before and well after me get called in, I left. I had an hour's drive to work and couldn't stay any longer. Neither was consideration given for the fact that I had traveled 100 miles that morning to meet him. Also, I had never been in the waiting room of a doctor's office where every patient is accompanied by their lawyer. Actually, several patients shared the same lawyer. As soon as I left I called the insurance company to make sure that they didn't pay the doctor their co-pay and I also called my credit card company.

Dr. Steinlauf is the best doctor & surgeon out there. My wife suffered with pain in both of her feet for many years, had several surgeries from different doctors with no success. She was referred to Dr. Steinlauf, who is over an hour away from us, and immediately he knew what was wrong. He preformed surgery on both of her feet three years ago, and my wife is still pain FREE. On another note, Dr. Steinlauf has helped me tremendously. My wife went to see him for one of her post op appointments. I wasn't with her because I was very ill and just came out of the hospital. Being a caring doctor, Dr. Steinlauf asked my wife where I was since I normally took her to her appointments. She told him how sick I was, my symptoms, and that we found out I was misdiagnosed and there was no treatment for me. My condition was very rare, but Dr. Steinlauf being extremely knowledgeable, was familiar with it. He immediately asked his residents to call around and find out who could treat me. At 8:00 that night, Dr. Steinlauf personally called my wife with a name & phone number of a doctor who specialized in my condition. My wife called the following morning, and this doctor sent me down to Miami for treatment. If it wasn't for Dr. Steinlauf's, caring, knowledge & dedication, I would still be bed ridden. I will never be 100% well, because I didn't get the treatment in the timeframe I needed it, but I did receive some relief and now the doctors know what they are treating me for. If only the doctors I saw were like Dr. Steinlauf, who took charge of my situation and not accepting no for an answer, I would probably be healthy today.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Steven Steinlauf and the whole staff in his office. I wanted to thank the wonderful work he did on my feet (Bunion Surgery), since it has been impeccable and I am super happy for the results. Definitely my life has changed after undergoing both surgeries, the recovery was incredible and the follow-up done by the doctor, shows the great commitment he has with his patients.
Second, and not least, I want to thank the whole team in the office (Joni, Pilar, Milli, and others I do not know their names, but everyone is great !!!!!). All very professional, diligent and kind.

Wonderful Dr thought outside the box and repaired my joint instead of having to have a joint replacement that 5 other drs wanted to do

I busted up my heel a few years ago and Dr. Steinlauf was the surgeon who repaired it. He did an absolutely fantastic job. I've got zero issues with it now and can do everything as well as before. NOt only were the results perfect, but his staff is great, the followup was great, the PT was great and there were no issues with the bill. He spent the time to go over the X-rays and answer all my many questions each time he saw me.

MY HUSBAND HAS BEEN SEEING DR. STEINLAUF FOR SEVERAL YEARS FOR HIS COLLAPSED ARCH. HE IS A WONDERFUL PHYSICIAN WITH A TERRIFIC BEDSIDE MANNER. HE IS SIMPLY THE BEST.

I am very pleased with the services of Dr. Steinlauf and whenever someone tells me that they are having problems with their feet/legs, I always recommend this doctor. Very pleasant and knowledgeable.
