Dr. Segal has been my primary care doctor for about 30 years. He 
is one of those gifted physicians who always does more than checking your pulse, listening to your heart, shining a light into your ears, nose, and mouth and writing a prescription. He listens to what you say, and thoughtfully determines what you need to do.

If you are lucky in life, you will find two people you can trust totally, an honest car mechanic and a great doctor. Dr. Segal is a great doctor.

Best Doctor I have ever been to. He is smart, very caring, and always follows up with his patients. He gives you excellent referral doctors when needed. He treats you as family! The office staff is efficient, courteous and very helpful.

Dr. Segal saved my life. I walked into his clinic after seeing 2 other MD's who didn't know what was wrong with me and Dr. Segal took my health seriously, sending me to the hospital for additional testing. The result was leukemia and I was promptly treated and lived! I cannot ever thank him enough.

I switched my children from their pediatrician's office over 20 years ago to Dr. Segal's practice. Shortly afterwards, I switched my husband and myself. Smartest thing I ever did. His knowledge and philosophies of treatment have always been thorough and always given us the time and attention needed. Now my grown son and his wife have returned to the practice. I would highly recommend both Dr. Segal and Lake Zurich Family Treatment Center.

I've been Dr. Segal's patient for over 25 years and wouldn't think of going to another doctor. He's thorough, intelligent, communicates well, and explains what's going on and what he plans on doing to get to the bottom of it....he leaves no stone unturned. I feel my family and I are in very good hands with this capable doctor. His PA, Maki, is wonderful....she's trustful, intelligent, up to par with all new technology and a great personality......can't imagine ever changing.

I've been a patient for over 25 years. Dr. Segal was originally recommended by a surgeon whose family were his patients. I've recommened him to numerous people over the years and everyone I've sent continues to see him. My entire family, including my children and father, have used him for their medical needs. He has a great bedside manner, but more important, he is relentless in his pursuit of the correct diagnosis. Every inquiry I've ever made about him to a medical practioner has been answered with the most positve of comments. As long as he practices, I'll will avail myself of his services, even it means coming from out of state. You'll be glad you selected his practice.

He has been my doctor for 25 years and the only physician my kids know. He is very nice with great bedside manner, but even better very good. He has a busy practice, but he always gives you the time you need. He also knows what he knows and when appropriate makes a referral to a specialist; for me that is a strength and not a weakness. Since I work in a healthcare related field I have met many physicians and that experience only confirms my favorable impression of Dr Segal. In fact, he is out-of-network for my insurance, but I'm willing to pay more to keep him as our family physician.
