Dr. Dowd and his entire staff are phenomenal! As a patient, I don't feel like a number..but more of a family member. Their practice is warm and inviting. I never feel rushed or like I am bothering them. I can always get an appointment same day/next day and I love being able to speak with them directly after hours. Cornerstone Private Practice will forever be my PCP!

Dr. Dowd and his staff respond to my questions/emails very promptly and extensively. When I need a recommendation for a specialist for a friend or co-worker, he steers me in the best possible direction for that person's needs, even though that person is not his patient. His practice operates like that of a close family friend or family member. In today's world when medical care is complex to say the least, I feel I am in the best possible hands. One of my favorite things about the practice, is no wait time.

Dr. Dowd talks to me like a person, not just another patient. With the time he allows me, it's clear that I'm more than a number. My health is as important to him as it is to me. He makes himself fully available to his limited patients. He gives his cell number to all of his patients - and he actually answers! He has won me over because of his dedication to the patient, not the insurance companies. His manner is respectful, and he listens in such a quiet, unassuming way that's such a rarity in most doctor's offices today. I am so thankful that a physician of this quality with his amount of resources has become available in Suffolk!
