As a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with decades of experience, I was impressed by Dr. Tobin's credentials, so I referred my wife to his care.
Initially I ignored his 2.5 dismal ratings and he seemed to be OK. The Hippocratic Oath is an oath of ethics taken by all physicians as they graduate medical school. I will treat my fellow physician as my family, to consider his family as my own brothers-this is the basis of "PROFESSIONAL COURTESY".
Dr. Tobin has violated this sacred oath is his mistreatment of my wife tonight (11/27/23). She was early for a 6:30 PM appointment as she arrived at 6 PM …As she waited in the office, the receptionist called her to remind her of the appointment even though she checked in to the same person minutes earlier.
My wife has Sjogren's Syndrome and is constantly in pain and dry as the dessert…she had to wait until 7:45 PM to see Dr. Tobin…that is an hour and 45 minutes…she should not have waited, I would have walked out after 20 minutes, is a loyal patient from a medical family .
That is inhumane and a violation of any standard of care in any community. She should have asked the receptionist how long a wait there will be…she came home after 8:30 PM…she has dry eyes which is part of Sjogren's Syndrome…not easy to drive at night…even dangerous.
I intend to publicize his lack of respect for a doctor's wife…I wonder how he treats his other patients. We are requesting her medical records and will not return to his office….Harvard Medical Graduates typically are not allowed to touch private patients…this is a well-known fact. The truth about the awful standard of care by this so-called healer is abysmal and I recommend that no one seek his advice or counsel.

Tried to print the 7-page patient form (PNG) and gave up. Filled it out in the office. Full of redundancies. It looked as it was designed 40 years ago. It asked me many questions that were irrelevant and a waste of time. Why should I have to enter my Primary's phone number? The office system must have been developed when Bill Gates was in preschool. Receptionist was sullen and used a grating tone of voice. Never got to see the doctor. They had me confused with someone who doesn't value their time.

Terrible Doctor. Dr. Tobin told me I had cancer. Had second opinion - no cancer. That was 4 years ago.

I’m not quite sure where to start. Originally I was seeing his PA which was fine. Then I was seeing Dr. Tobin and he was belligerent and had no bedside manner. He blew off my concerns about ED. He is harsh and unprofessional. I don’t know if he’s discriminatory because I’m gay. He’s arrogant, not respectful of peoples time and does not listen to what your concerns are.

Very unorganized office staff. They never follow up and you have to constantly call them for results. They schedule a telephone appointment and 2 hours later the doctor calls. The office never calls to say he is running late and he never even apologizes for being 2 hours late. This has happened a few times. We are done with him. He doesn't care about his patients. He definitely needs an attitude adjustment.
