Yes Dr. Koerner is kind and knowlegeable overall; however i would NOT recommend him at all if you are a high risk patient. I have had type 1 diabetes my entire life and have had 2 healthy pregnancies and 2 healthy babies. Dr Koerner was clearly not comfortable caring for a pregnant diabetic, and instead of him saying that in the beginning, he just sent me all over having ultrasounds and biophysical profiles THREE TIMES PER WEEK, even though i had no problems associated with the pregnancy! After delivering a healthy baby girl, Dr. Koerner told me I should have my tubes tied and that I should never get pregnant again... I cannot speak for the average person's experience, but once again if you are high risk for any reason, but especially for being diabetic, do not see Dr.Koerner!

how do i get a hold of dr. koerner ? i need to ask about my surgery from when he worked in alice texas... alice hospital couldnt find my records and i must talk to him orone of his new staff

absoulte best obgyn overall. i wish he was in my home town again. he made me feel at ease with any questions i had and answered them professionally. i am currenlty pg and i wish he was my doctor again. :(

We could not have asked for a better doctor. Eased our concerns/fears. Cried when he retired during the middle of my last pregnancy.
