Dr. Kelling is clearly checked out... My Mom is a patient of his, and he recently went on a trip to Greece without leaving any doctor on call while he was gone. My Mom's symptoms continue to degrade, and he doesn't appear to be doing anything proactive to help her cope with her advancing symptoms of COPD. He clearly has decided in his sunset years to ignore his Hippocratic oath. If you are looking for a pulmonologist, Dr. Kelling isn't the doctor for you. Previous ratings are probably before he decided he's on the retirement plan and just doesn't have to care, since he is really the only Pulmonologist in town. And, BTW, he does NOT have hospital privileges at Transylvania Regional. So if you end up in the hospital, you will NOT have access to him. Go to Hendersonville or Asheville!

Dr. Kelling is sooo knowledgeable, not to mention very pleasant and communicative. I trust him.

Dr.Kelling has been very informative and extremely helpful to me since April of 2010. He has listened to my concerns and have provided the best care. I had a PE and a collapsed lung and am still recovering very well
