Did not provide me with the approach I asked for or wanted. I had a “mystery illness” so to speak, but after a while, he stopped doing tests on me when I came in. I was not supported in my wish to not take too many prescriptions before I was diagnosed. I react poorly to a handful of medications and do not wish to take them when unnecessary. He could not figure out what I needed, so he immediately tried to put me on antidepressants without letting me voice my concerns first. He seemed too eager to slap a condition on me quickly- regardless if it fit well or not- and drug me up for it. I switched to a doctor that would listen to me better.

This review is for the practice Clarkston medical group more than the individual doctor. I was recently there as an uninsured self pay client, billing was never explained to me, and after an expensive office visit that was inconclusive, I thought I was done. Then the bills for all the tests started rolling in, more than doubling the cost of what I spent that day. Why everything is billed separately is not only beyond me, it was never explained to me that I would be paying another fee for every test administered that day, when I was lead to believe those tests were covered when I paid that day. Only seeing e doctor for five minutes of a two hour doctor visits isn't very helpful either. For what I paid, the least I expect is an answer, instead, I had to sell my car to pay my unreasonable, and unexplained medical bills from this practice. Thanks for sending me close to bankruptcy for an 'I don't know'. Thanks for not being up front about the costs of certain tests.
