Biography

Dr. James L. Wilder is a Gynecological Oncology Surgeon who treats women with gynecologic cancers, as well as women with complex benign gynecological conditions. His area of expertise include minimally invasive da Vinci Robotic Surgery, cancer of the female organs, fibroids, pelvic prolapse, endometriosis, and prophylactic surgery for women at high risk for the development of hereditary ovarian and endometrial cancers. He also has extensive experience in chemotherapeutic treatment and management of high grade uterine cancers. Long before entering medical school, Dr. Wilder had a family history in health care. Born in Kingsville, Texas, he is the third-generation physician in his family. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as gynecologic oncology, Dr. Wilder offers highly personalized care for patients based on the latest medical and surgical innovations. He has performed over 2,195 robotic cases, ranking in the top 2% in Texas and the top 5% nationally.
