This was my second time at having a callus on my toe of which Dr. powers took care of. Dr Powers has been my my doctor for the past eight years due to his relentless efforts of making sure issues with my toes are taken care of.He's very attentive of watching my sore to make sure it doesn't get infected, which could cause me to loose my toes. After doing surgery om my toe, Dr Powers called me at home to see how I was doing. I found this to be very caring about my well being. Dr Powers is very straight forward at what needs to be done to over come whatever issues you might have regarding your feet, which may sound harsh at the time. If you stay with him, you might save yourself the loss of important body parts. This is why I've been with him so long, and plan on staying with him as long as I I have issues with my feet. I rate Dr Powers on a scale of one to ten, a ten plus. His staff is always courteous, and helpful when I need to see Dr powers unexpectedly, and for me , I greatly appreciate them for their assistance. I highly recommend Dr Powers. Thank you so much for what you've done for me over the years. R. Clampitt

He did every possible thing to help me avoid surgery. I had plantar fasciitis and a pinched nerve and fought it for 2 years before coming to Dr. Powers. It just wasn't in the stars. I had a excellent experience in surgery. No pain!!!!! Now thanks to him I'm on my way to recovery and getting my life back. He is wonderful!!!!!! I recommend him highly. Before surgery he went over exactly what would be done and everything went as planned and went well.

All I had was a hang nail on my big toe. I have been burned 70% of my body and I have been disabled for 2 yrs. He noticed a sore on my leg and suggested I see a wound specialist. I get hurt easily because of the deep scars from the burns and I informed him that I have already seen that wound specialist previously and he couldn't do anything for me. It pissed Powers off and when he numbed my toe, he jabbed the needle in instead of inserting it and then twisted it in several directions while it was still in my toe without taking it out and re-inserting it to go into different directions.. Needless to say it was excruciatingly painful and now the following day my toe hurts from the needle jabs and not from the portion of the removed nail.

I had flat feet growing up and had a small amount of pain so I went to go see Dr. Powers. He told me that I NEEDED surgery to fix the problem and guilted my mother into signing off on it. He is very quick to suggest surgery and wants to perform it as soon as possible. Part of the surgeries involved putting in a cadaver bone implant but a few weeks after the surgery, the good doctor said he put the wrong size implant in there. He went back in and toko the old implant out and put a new one in....or so I thought. A couple years later, I found out he really didn't put a new implant in although I was told he did and we got billed for it. Needless to say we are starting a malpractice suit against him. I would NOT recommend anyone going to go see him EVER!! his staff is friendly and nice but the doctor himself is arrogant and pompous and not that great.

I have seen doctor Powers a number of times, and I never fail to be impressed. He is, in my opinion, best in his field. He seems to know exactly what you need, and my trips to him have (so far) been painless. He can have the entire process(depending on what you have to have done)completed in five to ten minutes and he does flawless work and he never fails to amaze me. i appreciate him and highly recommend him. also he is polite and friendly.

I only have medicaid due to an illness. I was told after I went into the room that this would be the last time that MR.Powers would see me. After waiting in the room for over a hour he walked in and asked what the problem was, I told him my feet hurt, then I could not believe what came next. He said I was fat and I needed to give up the food and buy better shoes. WTF kind of doctor tells a patient that?
