So I saw Dr. Dahl about severe knee damage brought on my a congenital deformity in my legs. “Best in the State” I was told.

He orders the MRI’s, reviews the X-Rays, and cortisone shots for six or so weeks. As expected, and given the extent of the damage of my knees the shots were a fail. There was no doubt I needed knee replacements, even at such a young age. However, Dr. Dahl didn’t see that as an option even though one can look at my knees and tell I was in bad shape.

Unable to admit that he had no options to help me, he took issue with my weight. Even though my knees were damaged from childhood, even though my knee issues would have occurred at an average weight, and although I lost 100 pounds, Dr. Dahl found fault with ME. So what did this “Best in MN” Dr. say to me? “You lost ONLY 100 pounds with WLS and you’re STILL obese? That’s crazy!” I’m in pain and helpless, and Dr. Dahl took issue with my weight when in reality he couldn’t admit that he didn’t know how to fix it, even though the answer was in his face.

Never before had I felt so humiliated, and I never saw him again

Dr. Dahl patiently answered my MANY questions and gave me a realistic assessment of what I could expect from the treatment he rendered. He replaced both my knees nearly 10 years ago, and I'm very happy with the result. I am still walking 10+ miles at a time, skiing, bicycling, and enjoying an active life.

He is very rude and he humiliated me and I dread having to go see him he is not thurow. He has made me cry several times. After the third appt with him he still didn't know my name. In his letters he sends to me they are wrong and he has fulsey accused me of things. I have lost all of my respect for that man he is the worst out of all the dr.'s/nurses I have ever had!
