Dr.Keith Komnick is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He brings more than 25+ years of experience treating general orthopedic conditions in Chicago, DuPage County and the Northwest suburbs. The primary focus of Dr. Komnick is to restore function and motion, relieve pain and improve patients' quality of life. This is achieved through comprehensive treatment plan and compassionate care. His approach to patient care is based on personalized attention and customized treatment of each individual. Conservative, non-operative management is Dr. Komnick's ideal goal for most conditions. Dr. Komnick has performed thousands of procedures on the different joints and areas of the body affected by accidents, sports injury and work injury. These include arthroscopic surgeries, total joint replacements and extensive fracture experience. Dr. Komnick works with patients of all ages, including active adults, college and high school athletes, weekend warriors and senior citizens. As a general orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Komnick treats almost all injuries and conditions related to your bones and muscles for both adults and pediatric patients Dr. Komnick graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago School of Medicine. He continued his medical education as an orthopedic resident at the same institution. This included six months of specialized pediatric training at Shriners Hospital for Children-Chicago. He is obtained Board Certification upon completing his residency and re-certified through 2023. He is currently on the hospital staff of: St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates, IL Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village Glen Oaks Medical Center, Bloomingdale, IL
