No complaints about the doctor herself, however...when I went in for standard pregnancy blood work, I was originally given the wrong dose of the glucose drink. I'm glad somebody noticed so I didn't have to come back to redo it. Also I had a minor emergency one morning and called for 1.5 hrs(during business)receiving only the answering machine. My message was not returned...I finally drove there to talk to them. The receptionist told me she was running late/behind. Incidentally after the ER determined I was miscarrying, I left another message at the office and my call was never returned. The following week I got a reminder call for my already scheduled appt. I found that very insensitive...had they checked their messages they should have taken me off the books for that appt and had me come in in the recommended 2 days for a follow up from the ER. Frustrating. If I need a OB again the only way I would use this doctor is if she got a new, more capable/professional staff.

I am so impressed with Dr BP! Loved her so much. She was super professional yet friendly and kind. I am temporarily on Medicaid and have been treated rudely elsewhere so I was nervous for my appointment today at Dr. BP's. She was just great. I'm a real patient and recommend her highly!!

At first I though she was a wonderful doctor, helping me at the beginning of my pregnancy and always answering my questions. As I was heading towards the end of my pregnancy, she seemed to stop caring as much. She would never tell me the outcome of various tests, I would always have to bring it up and ask. She seemed to look things up on the internet a lot to help answer my questions, things that I thought a doctor should already know. I really enjoyed her staff though, they were always so nice.

Dr Butler-Poku is amazing, so caring and helpful. She did my surgery and after care. Was very kind and caring. She actually cared about me more than $ which the 5 doctors before her didn't. RECOMEND HER TO ALL WOMEN!

Doctor is very down to earth and easy to talk to and will readily answer your questions. Feel very at home at her office

My husband and I love her!!! She was so sweet and understanding... We were expecting our first child and she was so helpful with our questions.. I am definitely going back to her for my next baby!!! Thank you Doctor Bulter-Poku!!!!!

She would not listen to our concerns my wife had preclampsia and left her go past do 2 1/2 weeks and are precious little angel died at birth due to neglgence. God bless Layla Chelsie Keppel. May 5th 2003

I saw Dr. Butler-Poku one time for my yearly when she was practicing in Gilbert -- I loved her!! She was running a little behind, but sincerely apologized. The amount of time she spent with me was unbelievable. She did not make me feel like she was rushed, even though she had been running behind. She asked thoughtful questions, and I felt she truly cared about me -- the patient. When it came time to make my next appt., I was heartbroken to find out she had moved clear over to Peoria or somewhere NW Phx. That's just too far from the EV for me :(
