He does not except Medicare Insurance.
I should have gone to a dentist that excepted medicare insurance and that is the reason I would never go there again, I will not recommend him to anyone that has Medicare Insurance. I feel that he did two biopsy's unnecessarily and I had to pay completely out of pocket. Even my Dental Med-life insurance did not pay because they used codes that were completely denied. Never again.

I was easily able to schedule my appointments at times that worked for me; they even accommodated a last minute change with no hassle. The staff was welcoming & especially helpful/efficient in making sure the necessary referrals were in order. The office was spotless and bright; the equipment was modern. Dr. H & staff really tried to put me at ease. He demonstrated professionalism /care for my well-being from the beginning. Due to my serious health problems, he even put off my surgery until the next day, requesting that I have blood work done to make sure my clotting time would not present an unexpected problem. He also accommodated my weakened immune system /antibiotic allergies by modifying how I would take the antibiotic prior to surgery. I could not believe how quickly the extraction itself was accomplished. Afterwards, he had me clamp down on wet tea bags to encourage clotting. I had very little bleeding, did not need a pain killer or ice, & did not get an infection.

Great info, fast service and procedure. I've had to see Dr. Halpern twice and he is the BEST! He informs you every step of the way and even follows up personally.

Had painful jaw lock and the doctor was very diligent to find the cause. He is very compassionate and covers all areas contributing to the problem in his review of each case. Even gave me reading material to help my situation. Makes sure I followed up and that treatment was fully completed til healed. Also, advised other issues in which I took him up on and there was a slight complication on that one but he told me he would come in on the day they are closed to resolve the complication so things won't get worse. I'd advise even my worse enemy to go to this DDS/Maxillofacial surgeon! He is a little short with staff but you can tell he is just being proficient due to his perfection and wanting to not make any mistakes. Talks with a calm reassuring mannerism.
