I can see there are mixed reviews here. I went to Dr.Cohen for generic testing before after a few miscarriages. He was blunt and to the point but I never felt he was rude. I think it helped to have someone but straight up and honest with our results and what they mean. We finally had a successful pregnancy with many visits to him and his staff and I loved them. It us true he doesn't have much personality to him but I imagine it makes things a little easier in his field to not have that emotional connection with his patients. I will say at one ultrasound he was silent upon viewing the baby and I began to cry he did grab my hand and say sorry he didn't mean to worry me. I am so thankful to him and his staff in helping me have our miracle.

I went to this doctor, because my OBGYN refer me but a didn't imagine he was going to be that rude, I am not paying to be treated like a friend but I think even if you are a doctor you should treat your patients with respect, when he came in to the room he didn't even said hello, and after he look really fast the measurements, my baby put her hand on her head and she didn't want to move, so he didn't wait and start poking my stomach on the head of my baby, I asked him if something was wrong and he said that's what I am trying to see, and I know he is doing his job but I don't considered that healthy for my baby, I can find a good doctor that know what he is doing and be treated better, I am not coming back to this doctor he is the worst, maybe some people like to be treated like that and considered that is knowledge, my advice there are better doctors out there that are going to treat you better, more human

I'm current seeing Dr.Cohen and it has been great. He can be blunt and very matter of fact but I like the non fluff attitude. This is my first pregnancy and naturally I have many questions. He takes his time and goes over my concerns . The staff are great as well, I really enjoy getting my ultrasounds and blood work there. I'm terrible with blood work but they do a great job. I imagine his blunt attitude could be off putting to some people who don't have the right attitude but his skills and education are fantastic. If you get the chance to go in his office you will see how many degrees he has and how vast his areas of study are. He is fantastic and I recommend him to everyone.

Dr Cohen came off a bit blunt. But to the point. He's not my main dr but I was sent there for the high risk testing. The girls up front were so sweet as I needed a full bladder but they were running behind and told me to go to restroom anyways cause I was in tears. My tech was awesome and she did the us for about half hour. Got great shots and congratulated me. I have second appt tomorrow hoping it goes just as good.

Absolutely horrible. Been there 3 times over two pregnancies and was let down every time. I'm not sure who is giving the good ratings or if this Dr has two completely different personalities because he was rude and belittling every time. Believe the comments you want but I guarantee that if you try to ask important questions or bring anyone with you, you will hate the experience too. The ultrasound techs are even worse. Just go in excited, especially with the dad, they hate that and one wrong question or taking a photo gets dad removed. Terrible bedside manner.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND this doctor. I am a healthcare professional myself and know "how it is" so I try abd be the easiest patient I,can be but I was so turned off by my experience with this doctor that I need to warn other moms to be. The first 2 visits for my US went okay-doctor wasn't overly warm and friendly but hey as long as does his job its no problem, he doesn't get paid to be my best friend. After I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes is when everything went downhill. The doc did my sugar conconsultant and was absolutely condescending and indifferent. My mom came to the follow up US and he was VERY RUDE to her, he completely ignored her when he walked in the room and proceeded to "check the baby" on the US which he really didnt. He dipicked up the US wand, made one meaningless circle over a non discript area dropped the wand and walked out without a word; his US tech was the one who instructed us to to his office. I will have to post more . Stay away.

I saw Dr. Cohen for my last pregnancy. He was terrific. He explained everything he was doing as well as the test results. I did not find him to be rude at all. He was very serious and warmed up once we started talking. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had a great experience with Dr. Cohen with both of my babies. I'll have to admit that I was a little hesitant at first after reading some of the reviews on here, but he was absolutely amazing! Dr. Cohen is the one to "pick you up" from the waiting room - I've never had a doctor do that before. He might seem a little dry, but it doesn't come off as rude. He just knows what he's doing. I really appreciated the fact that Dr. Cohen does part of the scan as well as draws the blood work. He even visited me in the hospital when I was there for my first child - he wasn't even one of my primary doctors, I just saw him for the specialty ultrasounds. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Cohen for his knowledge and professionalism!

I sensed rather doctor's indifference toward a patient. I've heard a silent judgement toward my situation. Doctor gave little advice as to my risky pregnancy and did not educate me as to what to expect during this risky pregnancy. I should have listened to my inner voice, my intuition and changed to different doctor. My first impression was negative from this doctor. I wish I was more educated by this doctor. Why do I even need a doctor if you can't squeeze out the info out of him. Or he assumes that you know everything about you situation. Well, if I did know I wouldn't need a doctor. I don't advice anyone to use Dr. Cohen, find someone who cares and more compassionate.
