David Sneid is a garbage human being. He asks questions and judges you. I visited when I was 29. At his age, he seemed to assume I do not care for myself as a diabetic. He told me I allowed my glucose levels to drop just so I could snack. Even if it were true, this is a poor thing to say to a new patient.

Fast forward to the present. Dr, Sneid was due to see me last month, therefore I was near the end of my year-long script for insulin. His office was unresponsive when I tried scheduling an appointment on a Thursday, with medication bound to run out on Saturday, I eventually reached him via an emergency pager his 3rd party phone answering service uses. When talking to him he let me know he would not sign a pre-auth, meaning he would allow me to get insulin, but only at full retail cost ($750), not at my usual copay.

Curtness is not something I want from a healthcare professional. He is a disrespectful, sub-human specimen that is not worth your time. I recognize that I was within a week or so of needing an annual appointment with him, but in no way does that mean I should be denied life saving medication.

Two words describe Dr. Sneid - arrogant jerk. A rude, dismissive doctor who will not listen to you.

Dr Sneid figured out what two other groups of doctors couldn't. My health symptoms were life-threatening and my general Dr sent me to the hospital. They constrained my symptoms, but couldn't determine the cause. My general Dr sent me to Dr. Sneid. Dr. Sneid diagnosed the core cause of all my symptoms on my first visit, determined which treatment was appropriate on my second visit, and this core illness was resolved on my third visit. In the following months, all of the other illness symptoms diminished. This happened many years ago. Without Dr Sneid, I would probably still be visiting doctors A, B, C, and D treating symptoms 1 thru 10 (maybe the reason the other doctors couldn't figure it out was because there were so many symptoms). In my experience, in our first visit he figured out what two other groups of doctors couldn't. So, if you want, or need, one of, if not the most knowledgeable, efficient, and effective endocrinologists in KC, Dr Sneid is most likely who you're looking for.

I was referred to several endocrinologists for a glandular issue, and although Dr. Sneid was not my physician's first choice I still thought I should visit him for his opinion. His assistant was rude and implied I did not have insurance (I do) and while the Dr. spoke with me about private issues he kept his door open the entire time allowing everyone in the waiting room to listen. He mocked me, talked down to me, and interrupted me. He then answered his cell phone during our meeting. I left feeling demeaned and angry, and with no real medical advice.

This doctor was extremely rude to me as was his secretary/nurse. He was dismissive of my concerns and only ordered diagnostic tests for me upon my own insistence (which, by the way, turned out to be positive). Five weeks later, he has yet to even follow up with me and discuss my test results. Endocrinology is a practice dealing with numerous important physiological issues and his bedside manner and overall demeanor is a disgrace to the practice of medicine.
