I will never go to him again. Terrible table side manner and it my opinion he either doesn't take pride in his work or he is incompetent He failed to do part of my annual exam. I am 65 years old, I know what a complete exam is.

I was a New Patient to this practice. I scheduled my appointment two months ago for the Mirena removal with Dr. Bergen. I was extremely disappointed. The staff was very unprofessional and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. The girl came in and told me that Dr. Bergen is the chief and doesn’t do “Mirena removals”. And was saying how mad he would be. It made me so uneasy. They were the ones who scheduled my appointment as an ANNUAL. It was their mistake and they were blaming me for it. So she leaves the room and I can hear Dr. Bergen and her going back and forth... extremely loud and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing to me for their mistake, they made a point to have me hear them talking! He finally comes in after a half hour later... no hi.. no how are you... the man has never met me before. He just makes this face at me and proceeds to take it out. He takes it out and quickly told me when the best time to try to get pregnant is... gets a phone call and answers it in the room and leaves. No goodbye... nothing... so completely rude! I would never go back there if my life depended on it!!

Really bad experience with Dr. Bergen at Atlanticare Pomona, I was visiting from out of the area. Bedside manner was awful. It was an emergency situation (with twins!) and he showed no empathy, just made me feel horrible and scared me. Was rough with an internal exam too. Was judgmental and his recommendation for care was not a good one either. I did not want to give birth there and left to go to my OB, even though that was over an hour away.

Arrogant a-hole with zero bedside manner! Women deserve better, and better is out there. Don't give him your money, or your insurance's money. In a conversation I had with other hospital staff, he is well know for being disagreeable and "cantankerous". They hate having to call him when he's on call and wishes he would retire. Not a good review when this a-hole is the chief of OB/GYN.

We are not from the area, but I went into labor and was rushed to this hospital and Dr. Bergen delivered my baby girl, who we lost at birth. This doctor was demeaning, rude, and berating to me for entering labor prematurely, basically accusing me of being irresponsible for absolutely no reason, and with no background on me whatsoever. All of this verbal abuse came while I was having rapid contractions and arrived at the hospital fully dilated. If there was anything I could do to revoke his medical license, I would. This review has nothing to do with the sad outcome, which was out of his control. Please avoid him at all costs and spread the news. On the flip side, the midwives and nursing staff here were incredible, patient, and compassionate. My recovery was a completely different experience thanks to their amazing care.

The staff and the doctor are both very rude! I have never had an appointment with the same person, and half of them I cant understand because they don't speak English clearly! I did have one appointment with the doctor and he made it seem like me being there was an inconvenience to him. At one point he even said to me "I don't even know why you came in". I was told by the hospital that the doctor only delivers the baby if there is a problem, but they could not tell me who actually would be delivering the baby because his practice has so many midwives. I want to know who is going to be there! I also want to know for sure that I will be able to understand their English! I am no longer using this practice, I do not appreciate the way I am being treated and the attitude I receive from the staff during each appointment. The above poster is also correct, they run tests and never tell you the results.

I loved Dr.Bergen! He delivered my daughter and I will never trust anyone else. He is amazing!!
