Dr Makos pulled up my MRI and went through every part of it, explaining as she went, never had a doctor do that. I was impressed with her patience and knowledge.

This unpleasant person should not be practicing in a clinical setting. She plays word games in answering simple questions. She displays a pattern intent on belittling her patients ; seemingly attempting to display her superiority (or others inferiority). She is not only condescending but looks for opportunities to be condescending during an office visit. She exhibits a kind of negative tone of being put upon. Her look and feel as well as the office she directs does not prioritize being well appointed (one doesn't feel secure in her care amplified by depressive operating conditions). Her staff exhibits symptoms of a toxic work environment and culture manifest by her leadership. They leave early without communicating to her (abandoning her before the last scheduled patient visit concludes), thus violating the patients need for any visit summaries or on site follow-up scheduling. They roll their eyes at each other and the patients in her poorly appointed waiting room at St. Luke's East after she addresses them. Overall this is not a happy camper in life who would benefit from intervention by a psychologists. Lastly, just an observation on her interactions - she clearly does not like men.

Extremely dedicated to my care. Came to the ER to see me when she was supposed to be going on vacation but came to see me first. Diagnosed my problem when others could not - even neurologists at UMC>

Arrogant, talks to you like your in idiot, much more worried about “insurance covers” then caring for patient. Horrible! Horrible.

This doctor is the worse Dr. I ever encountered .she has no answers for anything other than it's must be depression.a very poor excuse for a Dr.'

my son went to her and was having migraines almost on a daily basis, she put off running any tests on him until he was bad enough he was having stroke like symptoms. she kept saying she thought the headachs were due to depression. she finally done an mri and found out he had a blood clot on the brain. hes 21 years old

Dr. Makos overdosed me on steroids and refused to reduce them even when I had negative symptoms.

Dr. Makos basically ignored me, never made eye contact, no exam, did not spend more than 5 min in room. Had nurse do everything, relay info back & forth even tho I was new pt. Everyone in office was curt, brusque, dismissive, in a big hurry. Supposed to return and have tests, instead found a neurologist in KC, never returned here again.

Was very late (nearly 2 hours) getting to me, was not very friendly or helpful, and tried to rush me out because she got to me so late.
