Dr. Woodson acts friendly to get your money but does nothing to help you. If you have more than one concern you have to make an appointment to discuss it. Then who knows when that will be. What if something serious is going on. I am not a cash cow my health should come first. The staff just foolish her lead.

Dr. Woodson has extended professional services despite the unprofessionalism with her assistant. As a physician I expect integrity & honesty. Dr. Woodson did not display these characteristics in handling a concern I had. May 2012 I scheduled an ear wash apt. On my appointment date of May 22nd Dr. Woodson examined my ear and confirmed I did not need an ear wash. On this date I paid my normal $15 co-pay. I was disappointed after receiving the EOB which reflected the “removal of impacted ear wax” considering this service was not rendered. Also the statement reflected an additional balance $15 resulting from a $30 co-pay for the service of the “removal of impacted ear wax”. I phoned the office to try to resolve. I was told that Dr. Woodson confirmed she extended the service of “removal of impacted ear wax”. Dr. Woodson is willing to waive the $15 balance however she would like to discontinue her relationship with you as a patient.

Dr. Woodson has been my PCP for several years and like the other reviews said the staff is unprofessional and not responsive. I have several examples of their failure to submit authorization requests to my insurance company, follow up on inquiries, relay messages about the status of my condition to the doctor, return calls/respond to voice messages, etc. I tolerated the staff's nasty dispotition and incompetence because of my rapport with Dr. Woodson. She has always been engaging and seemingly concerned about her patients. I shared my concerns about the staff with her and although I noticed a turn over of new people who are more pleasant, they still do not follow up or return calls! Unfortunately, due to my most recent experience with her staff, I have decided that I can no longer over look their behavior and I am researching a new PCP.

Dr. Woodson is great and very knowledgable, however that staff is horrible. I get signed in right away, but as I sit in the waiting room I have to listen to the staff at the reception desk laugh and speak loudly about anything but their jobs. I once came in for a blood draw and no one gave my name to the person that draws blood so I had to wait for 30 minutes that I didn't have to wait. If you want a good doctor thats great I recommend Dr. Woodson, but if you want horrible service from her staff than this is the office for you.

Dr. Woodson is a very kind and concerned person,I have nothing but good to say about her and have recomended her to others. However, I have to agree with most of the previous comments.I've been trying to get a prescription filled for the past 3 mos. and have called several times and they have called me to confirm my call. this prescription needs Dr. Woodsons prior authorization. I gave the info to her assistant on the phone and when I went down to pick up a referral. It's now three and a half mos and it's still not filled. I dont' know if she's getting the messsage or not. My husband wants me to go to his Dr. but I really like Dr.Woodson.Maybe the scheduling dept. needs to cutback on the amount of patients they schedule.

I like Dr. Woodson, but her staff--AWEFUL! First, you can never get an appointment, even if it's an emergency; and when you’re finally seen, the staff is rude, slow and unashamedly impolite. As a result of her staff’s incompetence, I’ve incurred hundreds of dollars of doctor’s fees because her staff “forgot”’ to fax my referral. Even though I spoke to them about the referral several times, in which they assured me they would take care it, it was never done. One morning on my way to work, I stopped by and re-submitted the referral request, which they managed to loose two times. I wouldn't trust her staff to handle any sensitive information. The office was a lot better when Dr. Ayanna James and her staff were there. Ever since Woodson and her cronies came aboard, the office has gone completely downhill. I prefer to give my $20.00 co-pay to a more deserving physician whose provides good service across the board.

Extremely disappointed with this whole office. After a year and a half of trying to get an annual physical, I have given up and selected another PCP. Again, at first things were fine and she is ok as a PCP if you never need your doctor for any reason. But when I called to schedule an annual physical, my first appointment date was 3 months out. And then at 5pm the night before my appointment, I received a phone call saying that the doctor had an emergency and she would not be able to see me the next day and that she would call me to reschedule. A month went by with no phone call after several messages left for the doctor. Eventually I had to reschedule with an appointment several months out. Again she could not make that appointment. And if you are sick and need an appointment, you are lucky if you get an appointment in the next two weeks. I warn everybody I can about this doctor.

I absolutely agree with the comments stated regarding Dr. Woodson's staff. I had been ill, called the office, got a voice mail (it was during office hours) and have yet to receive a call back. It is now over a year later. As its now time for me to go back for another annual visit, I am seriously contemplating if I should go back to the FWFMC. The staff is helpful when you arrive but over the phone its awful and the nurse seems to have an attitude when you finally speak to her if you ever get a chance to speak to her.

I love Dr. Woodson. The problem is that her staff is terrible. You can never get a message relayed over to the doctor. I am currently experiencing a serious problem and am not sure what I should be doing. I did not want an appt. I just wanted to get a call back and I stressed how critical it was. To no avail. I am not even sure that the message was given to her. In the last year the service has gone ddown hill and I an considering finding a new PCP. I would hate to do so however when I am in a situation and need help I expect to get it.
